Selection Methods
The selection of applicants shall be based on results of one TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge English proficiency test (FCE, CAE or CPE), the grades on the international student tests from Japan designated by each faculty, and the grades or interview results of Japanese tests (science and art technology excluded) administered by Kyushu University.
Tests of basic education may also be conducted during interviews.

Notification of Accepted Applicants
The names of successful applicants will be announced at Kyushu University in early March and, at the same time, acceptance letters and enrollment procedures will be mailed out. The test scores of successful applicants will also be listed on the Kyushu University homepage.
Enrollment Procedures
Submit the documents required for enrollment, in person or by mail, by the designated date.
Those who do not complete enrollment procedures by the specified date will be considered to have declined enrollment.
Admission Period and Education after Admission
New students are admitted in April. Classes will be the same as those attended by normally admitted students, and will be conducted in Japanese.
