Method of paying tuition fees
A "payment slip for tuition fees" will be sent by mail to a person who pays school expenses in the middle of April for existing students and around the last day of April for new students. Please pay the tuition fees at a "financial institution" within the period described in the payment slip.
※For high schools, payment is unnecessary if you have applied for school attendance grands(link is external)(Japanese Page). So we will not send a payment slip.
※Please make payment to the bank account with attention to the method of payment that is sent with a payment slip for tuition fees.
Please do not make payment to the bank account in the following cases.
1.Where you have applied for exemption from tuition fees
Please keep a "payment slip for tuition fees" sent to you during April with caution during application for exemption from tuition fees to use it in the case where your application is refused.
2.Where you are applying as a long-term auditor
We will separately send a "payment slip for tuition fees" for long-term auditors when the amount of tuition fees is decided.
3.Where you plan to finish the course in the middle of a semester
If you are a student in the late stage of a doctoral course and plan to finish the course in the middle of a semester, please consult with the Student Support Group of the graduate school to which you belong during April for the first semester and during October for the second semester.
4.Where you take a temporary leave from school
Please consult with the Student Support Group of the faculty or graduate school to which you belong or consult with a group in charge of the area in the case of an attached school.
Removal from school due to nonpayment of tuition fees
Please note that you may be removed from school in the case of nonpayment of tuition fees.
Tuition fee waiver system
There is a tuition fee waiver system for students who would otherwise find it extremely difficult to pay that semester\'s tuition fee due to their financial circumstances.
