Obtaining a visa certifying your residence status in Japan
The International Academic Affairs Office advises international students on authorization of residence status, extension of period of stay, change in residence status, authorization to engage in activities other than those permitted under one’s residence status (to allow part-time work in Japan), and other related procedures, some of which it can carry out on behalf of students.
Housing
Housing Kobaikai, the campus bookstore, assists students in finding housing by providing information about apartments located close to campus.
International students seeking to rent an off-campus apartment will require a guarantor to co-sign their lease. The International Academic Affairs Office is able to serve in this capacity, subject to a review of each applicant’s documentation and an interview. For more information, please visit the International Academic Affairs Office.
