After the deadlines
In some programs, spots may be available after the deadlines. Check on the description page of the program that interests you under the "Application deadlines" heading in the "Admission and regulations" tab. You can also contact the resource person for that department. Contact information can be found on the program description page, in the "Description" tab.
Note for foreign students
Because of the time needed to complete the formalities for entering Canada and Quebec, the admission period for international applicants ends several weeks before the session begins. Please note that foreign students must allow for 3 to 6 months to complete all the formalities required to study in Canada. If these formalities are not completed in time, you will have to file a new application at a later date.
A message will appear on your application form if there is a risk that the time required to process the application and to send the answer, in addition to the time you will need to acquire study permits, will be too long for you to arrive for the beginning of the session.
You may file an application just the same, but Université de Montréal cannot guarantee that it will respond quickly enough for you to be able to complete all the formalities required to study in Quebec. If the admission deadline for is past, we suggest that you choose another session to begin your studieinternational applicantss. Application fees are not refundable.
Application fees
The processing of your application file incurs administrative fees. Please note that the fees are not refundable and that applications may not be cancelled. To avoid the automatic closure of your application, it is essential that you pay these fees upon submission.

Note: If you are applying to an undergraduate program as well, you must fill out a second application, which will also incur fees.
Payment method
You must pay by Visa or MasterCard to submit the application online. You may make the payment with your own card or one belonging to another person (one of your parents, for example).
Exceptionally, if you are unable to make a card payment, please contact the customer service of the Office of Admissions and Recruitment using the Demande d'information (Information Request form). Your questions will be answered within 24 to 72 hours during business days.
