The total cost of a DU education includesdirect costs that will appear on your University bill, such as tuition, fees, and charges for room and board, as well as estimates for indirect costs such as books, transportation and personal expenses. (Sometimes you'll hear our staff also refer to your cost of attendance as your "student budget.")
Tuition rates for the following academic year are typically announced in March.
2015-16 COST OF ATTENDANCE
The figures below reflect sample budgets for the 2015-16 academic year (excluding summer quarter). Your actual costs will depend on a number of factors, such as the number of credit hours you take and discretionary expenses.
We assume that students in this program will be enrolled in 12-15 credits per semester during the 2015-16 school year (excluding summer) and will be assigned the following cost of attendance. If you plan to enroll in a different number of credits, please complete a budget adjustment form (available in June) to have your cost of attendance adjusted.

³A 1.072% origination fee is taken out at disbursement of Federal Direct Unsubsidized loans. The $222 listed is the average fee for law students who borrow these loans. Actual amounts will depend on the total borrowed.
