Rensselaer has a wide range of aid options including grants, scholarships, loans, and work programs to assist in making a Rensselaer education possible.
The Office of Financial Aid staff is ready to assist you in developing a plan that will suit your individual situation.
Most of our merit based awards simply require you to apply for admission. Federal, state, and need-based aid programs require additional applications. See the Financial Aid Resources page for more information.
Because Rensselaer provides varied merit scholarships, if a student is eligible for multiple Rensselaer scholarships, we will provide the scholarship which awards the highest dollar value for which the student is qualified.
A student may not combine multiple awards. The total of Rensselaer provided scholarships or grants may not exceed tuition.
Please call the Office of Financial Aid at (518) 276-6813 or e-mail finaid@rpi.edu with any questions.
