General educational requirements
As a successful applicant, you must hold a secondary school leaving certificate. This diploma may be the Finnish matriculation examination, the International Baccalaureate, European Baccalaureate, Reifeprüfung or any other comparable upper secondary education qualification which provides eligibility to University-level Bachelor’s studies. The level of the applicants’ studies in mathematics should be equal to that of the advanced syllabus in mathematics in the Finnish general upper secondary school. The student selection is made by an admissions committee on the basis of your academic qualifications and merits shown in your application documents. Please note that all applicants fulfilling the requirements cannot be granted admission. A limited number of the highest qualified students will be accepted in the programme.
Tampere University of Technology has one intake of students per year. Applications are accepted only during the application periods.
