To be invited to sit the entrance exam, you need to be eligible, have an approved certificate and, in some cases, an English language test needs to be sent to Åland UAS with your application.
Approved Certificates
Applicants holding a certificate from a EU/EEA* country and Switzerland
-The Finnish matriculation examination
-Completed upper secondary school
-Vocational education of three or more years in duration
-The International Baccalaureate
-European Baccalaureate
-Reifeprüfung Diploma
-A foreign qualification that provides eligibility for university admission in the country in which it was awarded.
No language test needed. English language skills will be tested during the entrance exam.
Applicants holding a certificate from a non-EU country
-The International Baccalaureate
-European Baccalaureate
-Reifeprüfung Diploma
-A foreign qualification that provides eligibility for university admission in the country in which it was awarded.
A language test is needed.
