General eligibility
A requirement for all Master's programmes is the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, corresponding to at least 180 credits in the European Credit Transfer System.
Specific eligibility
The specific requirements vary between the programmes. Most programmes have requirements of a specific major subject in your Bachelor's degree.
Likewise, most programmes also require a very good command of English equivalent to Course English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School, please seewww.universityadmissions.se.
Please note that some programmes have additional requirements and/or compulsory language tests with higher scores than stated below - make sure to read the specific requirements for each programme carefully.
Accepted English tests and minimum results required:
IELTS
Academic modules. For course B: an overall mark of 6.5 and no section below 5.5.
Submitting your IELTS test results
You can upload a scan of your original IELTS Academic results using the document uploading function on the University admissions website. You can also send a copy of your test results to:

Your results will later be verified online, so the copy of your test results is sufficient documentation
TOEFL
All TOEFL tests must be sent directly from Educational Testing Service (ETS). The institution code of University Admissions in Sweden is SWEDEN 3477. You must provide this code in order for your results to be reported to University Admissions. When sending your score, you can choose any school type and department for University Admissions; it does not matter which one you select. Please note that it can take several weeks for your test score to arrive from ETS, so arrange for them to be sent to University Admissions as early as possible. Please note: TOEFL Examinee Score Records are not accepted.
Paper-based - For Course B: Score of 4.5 (scale 1-6) in written test, total score of 575.
Internet-based - For Course B: Score of 20 (scale 0-30) in written test, total score of 90.
Michigan English Language Assessment Battery
For Course B: Minimum score of 90
Pearson Test of English
English B / English 6: Score of 62 (writing 61)
University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL)
Cambridge English: Advanced (Certificate in Advance English)
Please note that some programmes have compulsory language tests with higher scores than the general English language requirement (example given some programmes in the Department of English) - make sure to read the specific requirements for the programmes you are applying for carefully.
