Application fee
The application fee is 900 SEK (Swedish Crowns).
The payment process will take place on the online application service in “My pages” on universityadmissions.se once you submit an application.
For the assessment of applications for studies the payment of an application fee is required. The application fee will cover the costs associated with the processing of an admission application. The assessment of an application is conditioned to the payment of the application fee.
Tuition fee
Tuition fee is introduced for programmes and courses at first cycle (Bachelor) and second cycle (Master) levels. There is no tuition fee for third cycle (Doctoral).
Universities and university colleges set their own tuition fees. Tuition fees will cover the full cost of studies; therefore, the fee levels may vary depending on the type and content of the course or programme.

Tuition Fees at Örebro University
Information about the tuition fee for each program is found in the program information page.
The tuition fee must be paid per semester in advance. The first semester must be paid for before the studies begin. After the second notification of selection results, applicants who has been admitted to a programme at Örebro University will receive an invoice for the tuition fee for the first semester. The invoice will be sent with e-mail to the e-mail adress used when applying.
If a scholarship has been granted, the amount awarded will be deducted from the invoice accordingly.
Once the tuition fee for the first semester has been paid, an application for a residence permit can be made through the Swedish Migration Agency. When an admitted student has paid the tuition fee to Örebro University information about this will automatically be sent to the Swedish Migration Agency.
