TUITION FEE FOR NON-EU STUDENTS ACADEMIC YEAR 2016-17
Tuition fee for all undergraduate programmes is €9,000.
Tuition fee for all postgraduate programmes is €10,000.
Tuition fee for English language and Foundation programmes varies from €6000 to €9000.
Private medical insurance is an additional fee. The International Office, Athlone Institute of Technology can organise private medical insurance for Non-EU students for the sum of €150 for one year.
Method of payment of tuition fee
On receipt of letter of offer from Athlone Institute of Technology, students can choose to pay tuition fee through two options:
Option 1:
Tuition fee may be transferred to Athlone Institute of Technology Bank Account and bank account details can be requested from the International Office, Athlone Institute of Technology.

Option 2:
The most effective method of payment is through the International Student Payments Service (ISPS). The ISPS service enables students to make your payment to AIT locally from their own country, significantly reducing bank charges. All payments can be tracked 24 hours a day online. Students can start payment process by logging on to www.ait.studentfees.ie. Any queries regarding payment may be sent directly to ISPS at: info@studentfees.ie
Note:
The only condition where tuition fee is refunded to the student is where study visa to Ireland is refused. Total tuition fee is refunded to the student’s bank account on providing evidence of study visa refusal by the Department of Justice.
