  Accommodation

MCI offers students an excellent infrastructure including attractive lecture rooms, computer labs, space for group work and state-of-the-art research facilities as well as conveniently situated student dormitories, convenient car parks and excellent public transportation facilities.

As a well-established university town Innsbruck offers plenty of housing possibilities for students.

  Accommodation through OeAD

Many international students book a room in a student dormitory via OeAD, the Austrian Agency for International Mobility and Cooperation in Education, Science, and Research. For this service OeAD's local housing office Innsbruck charges a service fee of EUR 18 per month of stay. Student dorms may charge a small administrative fee as well. Both the service and administrative fees will be deducted from your deposit. In addition, there may be bank transfer fees when you transfer the mandatory deposit to OeAD's bank account.

Student dorms fill up fast, especially in the fall semester and single rooms are highly coveted. We recommend that students apply very early.

Usually, rooms in student dorms are available for either a full semester (September 01 or October 01 to February 28 / March 01 to June 30) or a full academic year (September 01 or October 01 to June 30).

Single rooms cost approximately EUR 360, double rooms approximately EUR 270 per person and per month. Room reservations are only valid after the payment of a deposit (currently EUR 950).
