3) Personal Identity document (passport): country of origin, number, date of issue, issuing authority
4) Educational certificates
5) Degrees to apply
6) Information on taking Russian Universal State Examination (if available)
7) Prizewinner’s certificate of academic competitions (if available)

FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS IN 2013-14
(total full cost per academic year):
Foundation program, preparation for entry to University (1 academic year)
99 000 RUB or 3 200 USD;
Bachelor programs (engineering and technological degrees, 4 academic years)
115 000 RUB or 3 800 USD;
Bachelor programs (economics and computer sciences, 4 academic years)
135 000 RUB or 4 100 USD;
Master’s degree programs (all degrees, normally 2 academic years)
165 000 RUB or 5 300 USD.
The payment for study and residence for the foreign students is made by a wire bank transfer to the Moscow State Mining University bank account or by cash at the accounting office of the University.
Canteens
You are free to choose any Café we have in our University for getting a bite of lunch. A tasty full lunch cost is about 3-6 US dollar!
Café “Marina” is the biggest Café of the University regarding the capacity. The beautiful trim tablecloths are set out the tables during different conferences and meetings conduction, thesis works presentation and birthdays’ celebration. The house speciality of the Café is the potties with amazingly cooked pig or beef meat. The Café is located on the ground floor of the main building of the University leftward the entrance. Working hours: 09:00-16:00 from Monday till Friday.
Accommodation & Residences
Student dormitory is a kind of entire and separate world which exists in parallel world. The key rule of the dormitory is to be young, cheerful and lively resident. While the priority is ability to get on with people well. It is well known that the person who can find a common language and be involved well with other people makes his way and achieve high in life easier than those who are indifferent, avoidant , conflictual or irrestrainable.
Foundation & Preparatory Russian course
Preparatory Course (Foundation) is taught by qualified faculty members of the University. It is created to assist international students to prepare for further studying on Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree.
Foreign citizens are admitted to the Foundation program of the MSMU based on their academic ability and financial affidavit.
On successful completion of the Foundation course at MSMU foreign students has a choice to continue their studying at the MSMU or the other universities of Russian Federation (Bachelor and Master Degrees). Other appropriate postgraduate courses are available as well.
