  *Room and board rates depend on the room and meal plan selected. The rate shown is for adouble room in a modern dormitory and the Silver meal plan.

  Additional costs for books and supplies vary with the course of study. Some programs may require the purchase of specific computer equipment. Additional expenses not billed by the university vary by student.

  -Arts & Sciences

  Tuition and Fees

  Full-time tuition for the 2016-2017 academic year is $48,950. A flat rate of $24,475 applies for 9 or more units per semester. Alternative charges may be:

  $2,040 per unit for registrations of less than 9 units

  -Architecture & Urban Design

  In the 2015-16 school year, full-time tuition for students in the Graduate School of Architecture & Urban Design at Washington University in St. Louis is $23,425 per semester. There is an additional $190 annual studio fee that allows for maintenance and improvements to the School's computing facilities, as well as a $50 student activity fee and a $320 health and wellness fee.

  WUSTL student health insurance costs $1,512 per year. Please note: U.S. students may waive the student health insurance if they have health insurance through another provider, plan, organization or family member.

  -Art

  In the 2015-16 school year, full-time tuition for students in the Graduate School of Art at Washington University in St. Louis is $38,480 per year. Additional fees include a $400 annual studio fee, a $60 graduate student activity fee, a $320 health and wellness fee, and a $600 trip fee.

  WashU student health insurance costs $1,512 per year. Please note: U.S. students may waive the student health insurance if they have health insurance through another provider, plan, organizationm or family member.

  You will be billed for tuition and fees prior to the beginning of each semester (the deadline to enroll is August 1). Payments received by Washington University after the specified due date are subject to a late fee.

  Students receiving company reimbursement, as well as those receiving other forms of financial aid, are responsible for paying their tuition by the specified due date at the beginning of each term. You may need to apply for a loan or pay the cost out-of-pocket while you wait for your federal loan and/or employer reimbursement funds to become available.

  -Law

  Total tuition and living expenses for one year is approximately $74,983. Washington University School of Law is a private institution and top law school, and competition to attend is very high. However, over 80% of our law students receive some type of financial aid, including scholarships and grants, and the cost of living in St. Louis is very reasonable compared to other cities and regions of the country.

  Admitted applicants must pay the School of Law a non-refundable tuition deposit of $500 by April 1 to reserve your seat in the incoming class.

  A second non-refundable tuition deposit of $500 is due by June 1 preceding first-year registration. All tuition deposits are applied to tuition.

  Admitted applicants who fail to accept and deposit by their deposit deadline(s) may lose their reserved seat in the class and their offer of admission may be rescinded.

  Costs for the 2015-16 Academic Year: Tuition, Fees and Living Costs

  JD Tuition for the 2015-16 academic year is $51,216 (divided into fall and spring payments).

  -Student Bar Association Fee $90;

  -Orientation Fee $70;

  -University Health Insurance:* $1,512;

  -Mandatory University Health and Wellness Fee: $320;

  -Parking Pass (optional) $624;

  -Books/Supplies $2,000;

  -Room/Board $14,400;

  -Personal/ Other Expenses $5,000.

  LLM and MLS Tuition for the 2015-16 academic year is $51,216 (divided into fall and spring payments). (Part-time students are charged $2,134 per credit hour.)

  -Student Bar Association Fee $90;

  -Orientation Fee $70;

  -University Health Insurance: fall semester $632, spring semester $880

  -Mandatory University Health and Wellness Fee: $300;

  The following will vary depending on individual circumstances:

  -Annual Parking Pass (optional) $624;

  -Books/Supplies $2,000;

  -Room/Board $14,400;

  -Personal/ Other Expenses $5,000.
