Chinese qualifications and entry requirements
Undergraduate:
Important notes
The details below are intended as general guidance for those considering undergraduate study at King's.
Exact entry requirements will vary by course, and some will specify certain compulsory subjects or grades, or state preferred subjects. We have provided general guidance for most courses, but is important that you check our online prospectus for any non-academic entry requirements for your course, as well as any compulsory or preferred subjects.
King's has a competitive application process for our courses: meeting the minimum entry requirements alone will not guarantee that you will be successful in receiving an offer to study at King's.
King's International Foundation Programmes
The Senior High School Certificate will usually be considered with minimum 80%, although 85% will be required for specific science content for the International Science Foundation Programme. For the International Foundation Programme in Humanities & Social Sciences, 85% is required for those wishing to take the Law pathway.
Undergraduate entry
The Senior High School Certificate and/or GaoKao are not considered suitable for direct entry to undergraduate study at King's. Applicants may wish to consider taking one of our International Foundation programmes.
