Undergraduate
Students who have achieved an average of 80% in the academic subjects in their Senior High School Leaving Certificate after 3 years of study may be considered for a Foundation programme.
Students with 2 or 3 year University or College Diploma can be considered for undergraduate study - Year 1 entry. Applicants should be scoring a min of 80% average in relevant academic subjects.
University students who have studied 1-2 years (full-time) at a recognised university may be eligible for first year entry, dependent on subjects, institution and grades.
Postgraduate - Taught
You should have a Bachelors degree from an Chinese university but the specific percentage requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston and the Chinese university which you have graduated from. In general applicants should be scoring in the range of 75-85% average as a minimum.
If you are applying for finance, engineering or science based subjects, you must have studied a similar field in your undergraduate degree.
There are a number of conversion courses in the Business School which will accept students from any subject background.
Postgraduate - MBA
You can apply for the MBA programme with an undergraduate degree, in any subject area, from an overseas institution and a minimum of three years post graduation managerial work experience. You should have at least an undergraduate degree from a recognised Chinese university with at least 75-85% average as a minimum.
Postgraduate - Research
In order to apply to a research degree at Aston, you should have a Masters degree from a Chinese university but the specific percentage requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston and the Chinese university which you have graduated from. In general applicants should be scoring in the range of 75-85% average as a minimum.
English Language Requirements
To be accepted onto our programmes, you must be able to satisfy the University's English language requirements. The level required will depend on the programme you are applying for.
