ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
UNDERGRADUATE – YEAR 0 ENTRY
Minimum Entry Qualification - Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate 60% average. Completion of second year Senior Secondary School 70% average
Minimum English Language requirements -Standard English language entry requirements - IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
UNDERGRADUATE - YEAR 1 ENTRY
Minimum Entry Qualification - 3 Year leaving certificate from High School (Senior Middle School) with 75% - for courses with higher entry requirements such as Pharmacy and Physiotherapy, Senior Middle School with 85% required
Chinese National University
GaoKao Universit Entrance Test with 450+ (maximum is 750, 150 for each of five subjects)
Successful completion of one year Higher Education is acceptable in lieu of Grade 3 High School at 85%
Shanghai University Adult Education College Foundation in Business Programme or Foundation in Accounting and Finance Programme with a pass mark of 50% or above (please see below for progression routes)
Minimum English Language requirements - Standard English language entry requirements - IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
UNDERGRADUATE – YEAR 3/TOP UP ENTRY
Minimum Entry Qualification -Completion of year 3 of a three or four year degree or diploma at a Chinese university with grades of 70% or above in key relevant subjects. Completion of 3 year higher diploma can be considered at 60%
Minimum English Language requirements - Standard English language entry requirements - IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
POSTGRADUATE TAUGHT
Minimum Entry Qualification - 4-year Bachelors degree with grades of 70% or above in key subjects for MA International Journalism should be 75% for 211 Uni or above, 80% for non-211 Uni.
Only in exceptional circumstances will 3 year university/college diploma holders with grades of 70% or above in key subjects PLUS many years of substantial relevant work experience be admitted for direct entry. Most students will be referred to a top up or pre-Postgraduate Taught option
Students who have studied concurrently for a 3 year diploma and a pre-Postgraduate Taught programme will not be considered for PGT study.
