Academic requirements
Pre-Master's
A bachelor's degree with pass rate of 60% or GPA 2.0
A university or equivalent qualification below bachelor's degree level
3-year Diploma, with an overall average of 70% or above
A good HND qualification
Postgraduate taught and research
For a postgraduate taught degree: a good bachelor’s degree (equivalent to a UK honours degree)
For the MBA, you must also have 3 years professional work placement experience
For a postgraduate research degree, a postgraduate master’s degree or good honours bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
Typical entry criteria are shown above. Entry requirements vary depending on the course you are applying for. Equivalent academic qualifications can be accepted and we are happy to consider applicants on a case by case basis.
English language requirements
If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.
The university’s English language requirements in IELTS levels are as follows:
Postgraduate level

An IELTS certificate is only valid for 2 years.You should choose the academic modules in the test.

Cambridge CAE and CPE
(These qualifications cannot be used for Tier 4 student visa purposes)
postgraduate - 170-180 overall, with 170-179 in reading and writing, and 160-169 in speaking and listening
Pearson
postgraduate - 51 overall, with 51 in reading, writing, listening and speaking
