  To be eligible for admission to the Master of Accounting, a student must:

  hold a Bachelor degree (or higher) in accounting from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 scale) plus be eligible for Associate membership with CPA Australia*

  To be admitted to this program, students must be eligible for Associate membership and enrolment in the CPA Program. Students must apply to CPA Australia for Associate membership and enrolment in the CPA Program before enrolling in any CPA-related postgraduate course.

  * With the approval of the Program Director, students may be permitted to complete a limited number of courses as electives from theMaster of Professional Accounting (5683) to meet this membership requirement.

  Language requirements

  English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:

  A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.0

  OR a minimum score of 575 on TOEFL

  OR an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 79 (no sub-score less than 19)

  OR no score less than 3+ in each skill of the ISLPR (conducted by ISLPR Language Services only)

  OR a minimum grade of C on the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)

  OR a minimum grade of C on the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)

  Master of Architecture

  Admission requirements

  Graduates of an approved undergraduate pathway degree in architecture with a minimum GPA equivalent to a Griffith GPA of 5.0 across the second and third years of their undergraduate 3-year degree program will be eligible for admission to the Master of Architecture.

  Graduates from the Griffith Bachelor of Environmental Design (Architecture) who have a GPA of less than 5.0 but no less than 4.5 across the second and third years of study will be considered for entry to the Master of Architecture on the basis of demonstrated achievement in the core second and third year architecture discipline courses. Documented relevant experience may also be considered.

  Graduates from the Griffith Bachelor of Environmental Design (Architecture) with a GPA of less than 4.5 across the second and third years of study in core architecture courses, as well as graduates from other pathway programs in architecture, will be considered for entry on the basis of documented relevant experience (a portfolio and/or study diary covering a minimum six-months) and their academic record. The relevant experience must be explicit.

  For international students, admission is subject to meeting the English Language requirements.

  Language requirements

  English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:

  A minimum overall band score of 7.0 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.5

  OR a minimum score of 580 on TOEFL

  OR an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 92 (no score less than 22)

  OR no score less than 4 in each skill of the ISLPR (conducted by ISLPR Language Services only)

  OR a minimum grade of C on the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)

  Master of Business Administration

  To be eligible for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA), an applicant must:

  hold any Bachelor degree (or equivalent) from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.5 (using a 7.0 point scale) and have a minimum of three years equivalent full-time work experience post-degree which includes

  two years of relevant work experience and

  one year in a role demonstrating leadership experience

  OR hold a Griffith Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (or an equivalent qualification) with a minimum GPA of 4.5. Students with a Griffith Graduate Certificate in Business Administration will receive 40 credit points of advanced standing.

  Leadership can include direct supervisory experience and/or change management in an organisational or project-specific setting.

  If you do not meet the required GPA for direct admission, you may submit the result of the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT). The minimum requirement for GMAT is an overall score of 550.

  Language requirements

  English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:

  To be eligible for admission to Master of Civil Engineering, a student must hold:

  a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent three year or four year Civil Engineering undergraduate degree from a recognised university (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing)

  OR a Bachelor Honours degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent four year Civil Engineering undergraduate degree from a recognised university (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing)

  OR a Graduate Certificate in Civil Engineering.

  Students admitted to the program with a Bachelor Honours degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent four year Civil Engineering undergraduate degree or a Graduate Certificate in Civil Engineering will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing towards the program.

  Note: Only graduates of civil engineering will be admitted to this program due to its focus on technical design. The program is, therefore, not suitable to other engineering graduates.

  Language requirements

  Master of Clinical Psychology

  Admission to all postgraduate clinical psychology programs is restricted to students who are registered psychologists or who are eligible for provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.

  Academic Achievement/Intellectual Ability: To qualify for admission, applicants must have completed a program in psychology extending over four years and accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC). Preference may be given to people having completed an Honours degree in psychology awarded at the level of a First or Second Class Division A. It is a requirement that students will have completed undergraduate programs relevant to clinical and health psychology (e.g. Abnormal Psychology, Counselling Psychology).

  Admission decisions are based on the following criteria:

  Past academic performance and research experience.

  Referee reports.

  An interview with clinical staff members.

  Successful applicants are admitted on a conditional basis with continuation in the training program being dependent upon satisfactory performance and progress.

  To be eligible for admission to the Master of Education, applicants will require the following:

  hold a Bachelor of Education degree or an equivalent teacher education qualification

  OR hold a Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) and have a minimum of three years equivalent full-time experience in a leadership or management position in an educational setting

  OR hold a Bachelor Honours degree in Education (students will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing)

  OR hold a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Education or equivalent (students will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing).

  Language requirements

  English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:

  A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.0

  OR a Bachelor degree in Environmental Science from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with applicants normally having achieved a minimum GPA of 4.5 (using a 7.0 scale) in the Bachelor degree (these students will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing towards the program)

  OR the Graduate Certificate in Environment (these students will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing towards the program)

  OR a Bachelor Honours degree in Environmental Science from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing (these students will be eligible for 80 credit points of advanced standing towards the program).

  Language requirements

  English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:

  OR a Bachelor degree in an unrelated discipline from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.5 on a 7-point scale or equivalent.

  Students with a Bachelor degree in Information Technology may be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing in place of listed IT foundation courses as determined by the Program Director.
