Admission Eligibility
Common Requirements
A. Basic Requirements
Graduates(or graduate-to-be) of high school who completed overall education courses of elementary school, middle school and high school for more than 12 years. The Applicants must meet both the following nationality acknowledgement standards, Korean and English language proficiency requirements.(GED at domestic or foreign can’t support)
B. Nationality Acknowledgement Standards
- A non-Korean national whose parents are BOTH non-Korean nationals.
※ If an applicant and(or) his(her) parents have dual citizenship of which one being Korean, he(she) will not be considered as an international student.
- A Taiwanese national whose parents are Korean and Taiwanese is also considered as an international student.
3-2. Freshman Applicants
A. Korean Proficiency
- TOPIK(level 3 or higher) or a certificate of completing Korean Language Institute of Incheon National University(level 4 or higher) or a test of Korean Proficiency at the Incheon National University Language Insititute((level 3 or higher) except for applicants of School of Northeast Asian Studies for Korean Trade & Commerce Major.
※ Korean Trade & Commerce Major : TOPIK(level 4 or higher) or English Proficiency
B. English Proficiency
- TOEFL(iBT 75), TOEIC(750), IELTS(5.5), PET(level 4) or higher(applicants for School of Northeast Asian Studies for Korean Trade & Commerce Major only)
※ Overseas Korean in China, Russia and other countries and others who are fluent in Korean or who have studied in Korea are exempted from submitting TOPIK. (Proof must be submitted.)
3-3. Transfer Applicants
A. Korean Proficiency
- TOPIK result(level 3 or higher) or a certificate of completing Korean Language Institute of Incheon National University(level 4 or higher) or a test of Korean Proficiency at the Incheon National University Language Insititute((level 3 or higher)
※ Overseas Korean in China, Russia and other countries and others who are fluent in Korean or who have studied in Korea are exempted from submitting TOPIK. (Proof must be submitted.)
B. Academic Background Requirements
2nd year
1) Completed(or will complete by August 2016) at least 1 full academic year (more than 2 semesters) at a 4-year university in Korea or overseas(seasonal semesters not counted)
※ Applicants from an overseas university must have acquired (or will acquire by August 2016) more than one quarter of the credits required for the graduation.(evidential document must be submitted)
2) Graduated or expected to graduate by August 2016 from 2 or 3-year college in Korea or overseas.
3rd year
1) Completed(or will complete by August 2016) at least 3 full academic years(more than 4 semesters) at a 4-year university in Korea or overseas(seasonal semesters not counted)
※ Applicants from overseas university must acquired (or will acquire by August 2016) more than half of the credits required for the graduation.(evidential document must be submitted)
2) Graduated or expected to graduate by August 2016 from 2 or 3-year college in Korea or overseas.

Freshman
❶ A copy of Application Form(attached form)
❷ Completed School Information Form(attached form)
❸ Letter of Agreement for Education Verification Report(attached form)
❹ Elementary & Middle School Graduation or Transcript Certificates
❺ 1. High School Graduation ○ 2. High School Transcript Certificates
※ along with one of the two below as for educational institution abroad - Apostille certificate issued by the designated organization - A certificate issued by the Korean Consulate
❻ A Copy of Applicant´s Family Register(Family Relationship Certificate)
※ Certificates issued by a foreign government which is equivalent to the Family Register in Republic of Korea(Copy of Passport, ID Card, Driving License, etc)
※ In case of parents' divorce or death documentation issued by the government of the country of residence required to prove the fact (notarized copy, corresponding applicant)
❼ Immigration Certificate(foreigners residing in Korea only)
❽ 1. A copy of national ID card(parents, applicant) 2. A cop of passport(applicant) 3. A copy of alien registration card(front & back)
❾ A Certificate of Deposit Balance The applicant must submit a certificate of bank balance deposit of more than 11,000,000 KRW(USD or CNY equal to the amount) for financial sponsor(a parent) or applicant(deposit for at least 1 month), certificate of remittance and certificate of money exchange of more than USD 10,000.

※ Except for School of Northeast Asian Studies(Korean Trade & Commerce) applicants
● School of Northeast Asian Studies(Korean Trade & Commerce) : TOEIC(750), TOEFL(iBT 75), IELTS(5.5), PET(level 4), TOPIK(level 4) or higher
Transfer
❶ A copy of Application Form(attached form)
❷ Completed School Information Form(attached form)
❸ Letter of Agreement for Education Verification Report(attached form)
❹ High School Graduation Certificates

❺ 1. Certificate of Attendance or Completion(Prospective) of two full academic years(four semester) in the degree program at a four year University. Certificate of Graduation(Prospective) from College 2. Transcript of Previous University/College ※ along with one of the two below as for educational institution abroad - Apostille certificate issued by the designated organization - A certificate issued by the Korean Consulate
