Entry Requirements
Applicants must be of aged 18 and above, and meet at least one of the following requirements:
MDIS Advanced Diploma in Business Administration (International Business)*;OR
Equivalent Business related Diploma qualification from a local Polytechnic;OR
Other relevant Diplomas may be considered for entry on a case-by-case basis
*Applicants need to have completed the MDIS Diploma in Business Administration (International Business) or equivalent Diploma or related qualifications as assessed by SCU.
English Requirements
Applicants who have completed senior secondary study to the equivalent of the Australian year 12 in Singapore and the language of instruction was English; or
Applicants who have completed at least one year of full time study (or equivalent part time study) at AQF diploma equivalent or higher in Singapore and the language of instruction was English; or
Applicants with at least Grade C6 Pass in English at GCE 'O' Level plus a Singapore Diploma where the language of instruction was English are not required to provide proof of English language proficiency.
All other applicants are required yo sit for one of the following English tests and achieve the minimum required score:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): achieve 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in any subset; OR
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) paper-based: achieve a score of 550 with a minimum of 4.5 in the test of written English; OR
TOEFL internet-based: achieve a score of 60 with no writing/speaking score less than 17 and no reading/ listening score less than 11; OR
Pass MDIS Professional Certificate in English (PCIE); OR
An equivalent as deemed by Southern Cross University.

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Product Design Engineering - Northumbria University
Entry Requirements
Applicants must be of age 18 and above and meet at least one of the following requirements:
Diploma in Engineering awarded by MDIS
OR
GCE 'A' Level (320 UCAS Tariff points or grades of A, B, B) including subjects in Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology or Computer Science
OR
Other recognized qualifications may be assessed by the University on a case-by-case basis
Additional Requirements
Minimum C6 pass in English Language (EL1) and Elementary Mathematics at GCE 'O' Level or equivalent;
Applicants who do not meet the English requirements are required to achieve the following:
A minimum of 72 points in the TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language internet based test); including the following minimum scores in the component skills tests: Reading - 18, Writing - 17, Listening, Speaking - 20;
OR
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.5 (or above) with a minimum score in each component of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking of 5.5;
OR
Pearson Academic score of 51 (or above) with a minimum score in each component of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking of 51;
OR
Score a minimum of 50% for MDIS Professional Certificate in English (PCIE) at Upper Intermediate Level.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must be of age 18 and above, and meet at least ONE of the following requirements:

Diploma in Biomedical Sciences or Foundation Certificate in Biomedical Sciences (FCBS) by MDIS or
Obtain at least 3 GCE A level subjects with Grade B (including Grade B in Biology) or
Advanced standing and subject exemptions for applicants with Polytechnic Diploma in Biotechnology, Medical Technology or Biomedical Sciences Veterinary Technology or Pharmaceutical Sciences Food Science and Technology
Other equivalent qualifications may be considered on a case by case basis. Those who do not fit the above entry criteria are nevertheless encouraged to submit their academic transcripts for consideration.

Bachelor of Science (Hons) Biomedical Science - Northumbria University, School of Health and Life Sciences
Entry Requirements
Applicants must be of age 18 and above, and meet at least ONE of the following requirements:
Diploma in Biomedical Science or Foundation Certificate in Biomedical Sciences awarded by MDIS;
GCE ‘A’ Level, in science stream subjects (Grades BBB, with B in Biology) (300 UCAS Points)
Direct entry to the second year is possible providing that the student has been awarded the following from an approved local polytechnic:
Diploma qualification in Biomedical Sciences or a closely related subject area - e.g. Biotechnology
Other equivalent qualifications may be considered on a case by case basis. Those who do not fit the above entry criteria are nevertheless encouraged to submit their academic transcripts for consideration. All decisions regarding acceptance of candidates to the course will be made by Northumbria University.
