Do I have to take any other tests?
In addition to the EJU, all undergraduate applicants are required to undergo the “secondary” entrance examination of the college to which they are applying. The College of Economics, College of Business Administration, and College of Engineering Science also require TOEFL or TOEIC tests, and the College of Business Administration has a minimum TOEFL score for admission. TOEFL and TOEIC scores must be submitted at the time of application.

The application timing and guidelines are the same as those for Japanese nationals. However, consideration is often given to international students. For example, examination questions may be presented in English as well as Japanese, and English answers to essay questions may be accepted. Can foreigners become credited / noncredited auditor?
Foreigners can attend classes as credited or noncredited auditors, as long as that is permitted by their visa status. However, to apply for college student visas, credited and noncredited auditors must attend classes for 600 minutes per week at the same school for an entire year. That is equivalent to a minimum of seven 90-minute classes per week. The tuition is ¥14,800 per unit for auditors, and the admission fee is ¥28,200. For normal two-unit lecture classes (90 minutes), the tuition is ¥29,600 per semester.
