1.College of Humanities and Sciences
Home to the Richard T. Robertson School of Media and Culture, the School of World Studies, and 19 departments and programs offering undergraduate, master’s, doctoral and certificate programs.

Allied Health professionals make a difference in people´s lives. These practitioners comprise an estimated 50 to 60 percent of the health care workforce. Just think about a typical visit to the doctor. While you are conferring one-on-one with your physician, many other professionals may be working behind the scenes to help your doctor make a diagnosis, doing laboratory tests, developing x-rays, providing images and coordinating care. Others may help you later with your therapy, recovery, and rehabilitation.
What are the allied health professions? Allied health professions are careers in the health field that require specialized knowledge and often intensive academic preparation at the undergraduate, masters or doctoral level.

Ranked among the top programs in allied health in the country by U.S. News and World Report, VCU's School of Allied Health Professions is one of only a few institutions in the country that provides education in the major allied health professions. These include:
Clinical Laboratory Sciences,Gerontology,Health Administration,Nurse Anesthesia,Occupational Therapy,Patient Counseling,Physical Therapy,Radiation Sciences,Rehabilitation Sciences,Rehabilitation Counseling,and Virginia Center on Aging.
The School offers curriculum at the baccalaureate, masters, post-graduate, and doctoral levels. All of its programs are approved or accredited by the appropriate professional or educational organizations. The school has been a pioneer in the development of distance education programs at the University, and offers the only interdisciplinary, internet-based doctoral program in allied health in the country-the Ph.D. Program in Health Related Sciences.

4.School of Dentistry
The School of Dentistry has a long history of educating practitioners capable of meeting the oral health care needs of the communities they serve. The school provides opportunities for selected, qualified individuals to study dentistry under the most favorable conditions and in accordance with the standards established by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association.
The degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery is awarded to graduates of the school’s professional program and the Bachelor of Science degree to graduates of the dental hygiene program. Students in the Advanced Education Program receive a specialty certificate and, in some cases, a Master of Science in Dentistry degree.
4.牙医学院

Since its inception in 1996, the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Engineering has brought innovative, real-world engineering education to Central Virginia. The school enrolls over 1,600 undergraduate and 250 graduate students and offers degrees in biomedical engineering, chemical and life science engineering, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, engineering, mechanical and nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, and, in conjunction with the School of Business, a master’s degree in computer and information systems security. The programs emphasize creativity, entrepreneurship, business skills, communication, teamwork and undergraduate research. Students benefit from close, personal interactions with faculty and from the many opportunities available for internships, co-ops and undergraduate research experiences. These work experiences provide students with a clear understanding of the application of engineering and computer science skills to real-world environments.
