We deliver a rigorous and rewarding experience for our students through a holistic approach to education that transforms students into leaders. In the classroom, students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels work closely with faculty to shape academic pathways that lead to intellectual fulfillment and career achievement. We're a mid-sized University of about 12,000 graduates and undergraduates with average class sizes under 21 students and an 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio. Individual attention combined with big-city connections provide a wealth of professional opportunities for students, the majority of whom choose to stay in Denver after graduation.

Our intellectual curiosity leads to solutions that benefit people around the world, and our campus is enriched by the diverse perspectives of students from 89 countries. Around 70 percent of our undergraduate students participate in study abroad programs during their time here, taking advantage of the opportunity to advance peace, justice and understanding worldwide. With one of the world’s top schools for international relations, student and faculty research spans the continents, and a network of nearly 140,000 alumni supports students and graduates globally.

3.UNDERGRADUATE
DU offers a wide range of undergraduate majors, minors and areas of concentration. We can help you sort through the wide range of options or create a customized degree program that matches your interests and goals.
University College: University College offers evening and online classes for working adults. It has its own admission process and curriculum. These courses are open only to students enrolled in University College, and University College students may only take courses within the College.
Formal Dual Degree Programs: With fully developed and approved curricula, these programs enable undergraduate students to receive a bachelor's degree and an advanced degree in less time than it takes to earn the two degrees separately. The total credit hour requirement varies by department and you may cross-count a limited number of credit hours between your programs.

At DU, you have your choice of challenging graduate programs, including master's degrees, PhDs, formal and flexible dual degrees, and specialized certificate programs.
Formal Dual Degree Programs: With fully developed and approved curricula, these programs are available to graduate students who are admitted to both schools and submit the Dual Degree Approval Form during the program's first term. For program details, please contact the school, college or department.
Flexible Dual Degree Programs: Propose any combination of two master's degrees or one master's degree and one Juris Doctor Degree for a flexible dual degree program tailored to your career goals.
Graduate Schools & Colleges: Delve deeper into your chosen field of study through DU's 14 nationally acclaimed graduate schools and colleges. Each offers a wide range of innovative degree programs that are structured to equip you with precisely the skills and expertise you need. You'll complete your degree ready to confront challenges and pursue opportunities that will promote progress-and create positive change.
