The Carsey School of Public Policy at the University of New Hampshire is nationally recognized for its research, policy education, and engagement. With an expanding range of degree and non-degree programs, the Carsey School offers a growing number of opportunities for those interested in beginning, or advancing careers in public policy.

College of Engineering and Physical Sciences
The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences' dedication to teaching, research and service reflect the mission of the University of New Hampshire, the State's Land Grant, Sea Grant and Space Grant institution and its only public research university. The College offers a full array of Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees in engineering, mathematics, computer science, chemistry, earth science and physics as well as interdisciplinary programs in materials science, environmental engineering and ocean engineering. The research and design project activities of the College fulfill an important part of its educational mission by providing "capstone" learning experiences for undergraduates, educating future research scientists and engineers and attracting, engaging and retaining excellent faculty and staff. The College also embraces its mission to serve the citizens of the State of New Hampshire, national and international needs where it may contribute, as well as the various professions represented by the faculty and staff.

College of Health and Human Services
Our vision statement for the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS), Knowledge for Healthy Living, is an expression of our belief in the important work we do in educating our students, and its positive impact on the university, the broader community, and the citizens of New Hampshire. CHHS is committed to partnering with public and private organizations to enhance health and improve quality of life outcomes, through the creation and dissemination of new knowledge, and the high quality education of tomorrow’s health and human service professionals.
The College has 8 departments in the health professions: Communications Sciences and Disorders, Human Development and Family Studies, Health Management and Policy, Kinesiology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Recreation Management and Policy, and Social Work. Our undergraduate programs are nationally accredited and boast high success rates on Board licensing examinations. Using state-of-the-art instructional methodologies and contemporary techniques, our professors join academic theories with clinical practice.

College of Life Sciences & Agriculture
The College of Life Sciences & Agriculture (COLSA) is an academic unit within the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. Students come to COLSA to be educated in a wide spectrum of life science, agricultural and natural resources. We offer two-year associate degrees, four year undergraduate bachelor degrees and masters and Ph.D. degree programs.
COLSA is made up of world and nationally renowned faculty who combine teaching with a passion for research and public service. Their work to understand the nature of biological systems, manage and conserve natural resources, improve agricultural profitability and sustainability, enhance health and nutrition, and foster economic development has earned UNH nationwide recognition as a top-tier land, sea, and space grant university. School of Marine Science and Ocean Engineering
The School of Marine Science and Ocean Engineering is the University of New Hampshire’s first ‘interdisciplinary school’, designed to address today’s highly complex ocean and coastal challenges through integrated graduate education, research and engagement. As such, it serves as an interdisciplinary nexus for marine science and ocean engineering teaching and research across the University.
Combining traditional faculty and program strengths in Oceanography, Marine Biology and Ocean Engineering with an emerging Marine Policy focus, the School of Marine Science and Ocean Engineering provides its students with the scientific underpinnings of these disciplines while training them to contribute to and engage in scientifically-informed policy and resource management.
A core tenet of the School is connecting societal need to the education and research mission of the programs.

Thompson School of Applied Science
Faculty members at the Thompson School have significant work experience in industry and business; extensive and up-to-date knowledge of their specialties; ongoing contacts with practicing professionals; dedication to students and to excellence in teaching; and a commitment to practical, science-based education. They work closely with students, providing academic advising, career counseling, and special assistance, even outside the classroom, when needed.
Located at the western entrance to campus, the Thompson School's classrooms, laboratories, and working enterprises are designed for career-related experience under realistic conditions.
The Thompson School has 7 Degree Programs, 9 concentrations and 4 Diploma Programs.

School of Law
The University of New Hampshire School of Law is an intimate, innovative law school, committed to developing students who enjoy challenging dialogue from the first moments of orientation, embrace practice-based learning, and stand ready to join the ranks of alumni who are global leaders in intellectual property, general practice, public interest and social justice, and commerce and technology.
Our Legal Residency program allows students to work in their fields of interest for up to a full semester while receiving credit and our Daniel Webster Scholar program is the only practice-based bar exam alternative in the nation. Our location in Concord, New Hampshire’s capital, and our status as the state’s only law school offer numerous pro bono, externship, and Federal Work Study experiences too. UNH Law constantly updates its technology and programs to ensure that graduates are prepared to practice today’s law.
Our faculty consists of practitioners experienced in their fields of interest. The small student/faculty ratio promotes collaboration and collegiality.
