1.Helen Way Klingler College of Arts and Sciences
The Helen Way Klingler College of Arts and Sciences is the heart of the university with more than 40 majors. Be part of the most academically diverse college on campus.
Since the founding of Marquette in 1881 the College of Arts and Sciences has advanced the tradition of Jesuit Education and rigorous academic study that is grounded in the liberal arts. As the largest college in the university, we offer a variety of majors that represent the intellectual heart of the university to prepare our students to grow in mind, heart and spirit ready to engage in and transform the world in which they live.
In 2004, the college was privileged to be named the Helen Way Klingler College of Arts and Sciences. For more than two decades, she gave quietly often anonymously to Marquette. From 1979 until her death in 2004, Helen Way Klingler, resident of Shorewood, Wisconsin, donated more than $15 million to the university. Although Klingler did not attend Marquette, she cared deeply for its mission, saying simply in 1989, "Because I never had a child... I wanted to do something for those kids."

4.College of Education
The history of the College of Education is a long and rich one. For over 95 years, the College has helped prepare individuals to work as professionals in public and private school settings. In the present, our undergraduate programs position students for teaching in elementary, middle, and secondary schools, and our graduate programs prepare students for several roles including: counselors who work in schools and other human service organizations, master teachers, school principals and superintendents, private practice counseling psychologists, and higher education faculty and administrators. The faculty, staff, and administration care deeply about our students and are committed to enhancing their professional growth through individual mentoring, personalized attention, and extraordinary service.
Our high quality academic programs aim to develop consummate human service professionals -- individuals who will "Be the Difference" in their schools, institutions, organizations, and communities. Coursework is relevant, comprehensive, rigorous, and stimulating. Instructors seek to balance elements of theory, research, and practice, and they continually challenge students to think and act in critical, committed, inventive, and socially just ways. Individual Attention
Work one-on-one with an adviser to tailor an academic program that fits your needs and goals. Classes are small, averaging 10 students. Your needs as a student, researcher and individual will be met.

Study with superior faculty mentors. Marquette faculty have received 70 Fulbright Awards and four Guggenheim Fellowships. Your professors will be national leaders in research and scholarships, and attentive to your needs in and out of the classroom.
Flexible Schedules

Not all law schools are alike. Marquette is small, personal, and decidedly practical. It is also highly professional, with outstanding programs and experiential opportunities.

9.College of Nursing
In 1912, Marquette University acquired the Trinity Hospital Training School for Nursing and the nurses' residence. Soon after that acquisition, the nursing school became a division of higher education at Marquette and graduated 18 nursing students. At that time, Marquette was the only university in Wisconsin to offer a three-year nursing certificate.
In 1936, the School of Nursing became a constituent college of Marquette University with a four-year collegiate program designed by the college's first dean, Dr. Berenice Beck.
Today, the College of Nursing is housed in Emory T. Clark Hall on the west side of the Marquette campus. The 46,000-square-foot building includes office, classroom and laboratory space, including our new Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Center for Clinical Simulation which provides a realistic health care environment where our students can strengthen essential clinical competencies, develop sound clinical reasoning and prepare for high-risk situations.
