1、Cambridge University
这个学校的名气，教育质量，科研水平(尤其是历史专业)，地理位置的优越，令人神往。因为该校的课程多因其科研水平著称，所以历史系的研究生课程也基本都是MRes或者Mphil之类的研究式课程，如：MPhil in Economic and Social History，MPhil in Historical Studies，MPhil in Medieval History，MPhil in Political Thought and Intellectual History，MPhil in Early Modern History，MPhil in Modern European History，MLitt in History等。
2、St. Andrews University

是英国伦敦大学下属的20多所学院中最为著名的学院之一, 位于伦敦市中心。英国综合排名前10，也是很多国际学生向往的学校。MA in Ancient History, MA in Medieval Studies, MA in Modern History, MA in European History, MA in Dutch Golden Age etc. 都是非常不错的专业。
5、Bristol University
历史专业排名前10的大学。位于威尔士，是风景优美的海滨城市。Bristol是一所实力很强的综合性大学，在文学，传媒，经管，IT等教学和科研领域都享有盛誉。历史课程包含在Arts Faculty,主要的课程有 MA Ancient History and Historiography, MA Contemporary History, MA Medieval Studies 以及MA Medieval and Modern History等等。
6、Glasgow University
Glasgow University是英国在许多学科领域科研和教学实力很强的综合性大学，也是英国最古老6所大学(Oxbridge, St Andrews, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow) 之一。Glasgow大学的历史系特色在于不仅专业全面，而且多偏重理科性质。授课式的课程有M.Litt in History; M. 7、Leicester University
英国综合排名前20的大学，强项在生命科学，经社，商科，传媒和考古等。Leicester大学的考古专业曾被评为英国第一。历史专业有MA History 和Mphil History， 其中Mhpil专业的学生很多毕业后在本校读博(PhD History)。

•新闻出版部门：主要从事记者、编辑等职位。具有较强的新闻意识和出色的写作能力，良好的悟性和执行能力;思路开拓，文笔流畅，富创新精神，中文功底扎实，知识面广;具备良好的沟通能力和气质形象;工作责任心强，具备较强的敬业精神和团队合作意识;
•企业：由于历史是基础性学科，可以尝试对专业要求较低的一些职位。需要较强的工作能力、学习能力和团队合作精神。
