Additional Programs
In addition to the many degree and non-degree programs run under the auspices of each school, many residency and fellowship programs are run within the departments of Baylor College of Medicine to provide advanced clinical and research training for individuals who have already earned their M.D. and/or Ph.D.

1.Best Global Universities
Baylor College of Medicine earned a spot on the U.S. News & World Report 2018 Best Global Universities list, ranking No. 55 in the U.S. and No. 126 globally. Of note, the College is No. 24 in molecular biology and genetics, No. 46 in clinical medicine and No. 48. in neuroscience and behavior.

After being named one of the top magnet schools in the country earlier this spring, Baylor College of Medicine Academy at Ryan went on to receive the Magnet Schools of America President's Award, one of the organization's top national awards. The award was presented during a ceremony at Magnet Schools of America's 35th National Conference in Los Angeles. The school prepares diverse students for rigorous high school programs, college and careers through an innovative, accelerated health science program.

The Doctor of Nursing Practice – Nurse Anesthesia Program is 2nd in the nation and first in Texas. Physician Assistant Program – 13th in the nation and first in Texas.
