2021考研英语：小作文之推荐信评析
一、结构分析
推荐信写作主体主要分三部分展开，包括：开头段(表明写作意图)、第二段(说明推荐原因)、结尾段(表达感谢和期待)。
二、推荐信常用句式表达
开头句型：
1、我写此信的目的是代表······人，他/她申请···职位。
I am writing on behalf..., an applicant for the position as...
2、根据贵方的要求，我愿意毫无保留地推荐···为最佳人选。
With reference to your requirements, I shall, without reservation, recommend...as an ideal candidate.
中间段落常用表达：
1、他聪明、勤奋、知识面宽、经验丰富，有成为顶尖学者的巨大潜力，对此我很有信心。
I am confident that with his intelligence, diligence and extensive knowledge and experience, ... has great potential for developing into a very fine scholar.
2、他动力十足，精力旺盛，为人可靠，天性乐观，最重要的是他有很强的人际交往能力。
He is highly motivated, energetic, reliable and cheerful, and above all he has strong interpersonal skills.
3、他愿意在压力下工作，并具有领导素质。
He is willing to work under pressure with leadership quality.
4、他的品质足以让她在任何团队里都受欢迎。
He’s gotten enough attributes to make himself popular in any group.
5、每个和他一起工作的人都了解他的性格有多好。
Everyone who has worked with him knows what a good personality he has.
结尾句型：
1、总之，我相信···十分胜任···工作。
In closing it is my belief that ...is well competent for the job of ....
2、因此，我毫不犹豫的推荐····，以供贵方考虑。
Therefore, I don’t hesitate to recommend...as the right person for your consideration.
三、推荐信写作练习
Directions:
One of your friends wants to apply for a job involving working with foreign teenagers. Write a letter :
1) Recommend him/her.
2) Describe his/her past experience.
3) Explain the reasons.
Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use “Li Ming” instead.
Do not write your address.
