　　Graduate International Admission

　　An international student seeking admission to any graduate program must have completed a minimum of 16 years of education, including the equivalent of a four-year bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution. Course work taken at technical or non-university affiliated institutions may not be considered for academic credit. The education ministry in the applicant's home country must officially recognize each school as a degree-granting institution.

　　To apply, submit the application for your desired degree program:

　　Graduate application (for master's degree programs, as well as graduate certificates, licensures and endorsements).

　　Doctoral application (for Ph.D. and D.E. programs)

　　Once your application is complete, the admission evaluation and review process takes approximately four to six weeks for most programs. However, the process may take longer in certain programs, such as physical therapy.

　　When completing your address on your application, your permanent address must be your home country address, even if you are currently residing in the United States. Your mailing address should be the current location where you are residing. Do not list the United States address of a friend or relative.

　　Undergraduate International Admission Requirements

　　International students applying for first-year or transfer admission to the University of Dayton must submit the following documents:

　　Application, including the essay. International students applying for Summer 2017 or Fall 2017 should complete the new University of Dayton Application or the Common Application. Regardless of which application you submit, there is no application fee.

　　Letter of recommendation.

　　Official copy of secondary transcripts (in language of original issue) of all previously attended secondary schools, including dates of attendance, all subjects studied, grades earned and marks achieved on examinations; any transcripts not issued in English should be accompanied by a certified English translation.
