　　What do you remember about your life before you were three? Few people can remember anything that happened to them in their early years. Adults' memories of the next few years also tend to be scanty. Children two and a half to three years old remember experiences that occurred in their first year, and eleven month olds remember some events a year later. Nor does the hypothesis that infantile amnesia reflects repression—or holding back—of sexually charged episodes explain the phenomenon. While such repression may occur, people cannot remember ordinary events from the infant and toddler periods either.

　　建议大家把历年托福听力中出现名词背一下，很管用，这些词汇都是长对话里的重要特征，其实听懂这些往往对你猜测答案有意想不到的效果，其实托福听力中长对话一般不会说和我们常识相反的事物，你能够听明白在说个什么东西，即使后来很多不懂，连蒙带猜也可以做对3-4个。

　　三、边听对话一边做题

　　首先，容易造成听后不反应文章意思的恶习，的确大部分你能够听懂，基本都可以做对题，那么你是否想过有些你似乎理解意思，其实根本是错误的，只有做过题目对过答案才能够纠正，就算不存在以上问题，虽然听力选项答案简单，但是个体浏览和理解速度有差异，长期只听不作题必定导致你扫描答案速度降低。其次，托福听力答案偶有陷阱，D比A好，可是一上来就选A，所以这种细心和灵感是需要平时养成的。最后，在你万一听不懂的情况下，你看着选项必须猜题，这个猜其实包含了你使用一些听到的词汇来推测答案，这也是能力，试问你平时不猜，考试的时候怎么会猜对-

　　四、不用诵读，重点在听和背

　　托福听力练习时要求大家跟读，除了一些连读需要跟读几次，一些词汇习语背一下以外，听一次的效果远比读一次好，首先，这是听力不是朗诵会，第二很多人很多单词读音不标准。
