清明节英文单词

　　2018年春节还有一个多月就要来了，这可是中国最重要的传统节日，也是一家团圆的日子。那么大家是否知道，春节，除夕这些传统节日用英文都怎么表达呢?一起和出国留学网小编来了解下吧。

　　1、春节

　　春节,俗称过年,一般指除夕和正月初一。从字面来说，就是迎接春天、春天来到的节日，所以对照地，春节就翻译为The Spring Festival。

　　2、除夕

　　一年的最后一天叫"岁除",那天晚上叫"除夕"。换一种理解方法，一年的最后一天，其实也就是新年之前的一天，所以，除夕也可以翻译为New Year's Eve或者是 eve of lunar New Year。(农历)新年的前夕，就是除夕。eve是“前夕”的意思。

　　3、元宵节

　　元宵节的传统是挂灯笼、赏花灯，也叫灯节，所以元宵节的翻译就是灯笼节，即The Lantern Festival。

　　4、农历

　　农历就是阴历，我们用lunar calendar这个词表示，也就是阴历的日历。lunar有两个常用意思，一个是月亮的，一个是阴历的。calendar的意思是日历。

　　5、正月

　　正月其实就是农历(阴历)的一月，所以翻译为 lunar January。

　　6、过年

　　过年这个词其实意思很丰富，既有度过新年的意思，也有欢度新年的意思。因为其中庆祝新年的意思更主要，所以“过年”普遍翻译为celebrate the New Year，或celebrate the Spring Festival。

　　7、守岁

　　守岁是什么?其实就是在除夕夜一家人团聚，熬夜迎接农历新年的到来。说白了就是熬夜，所以，守岁就用熬夜(stay up)这个词来代替，变形后就是staying-up。

　　8、拜年

　　拜年是中国民间的传统习俗，是指在新年时拜家中长辈，还有到亲友家中祝贺，是人们相互走访祝贺春节、表示辞旧迎新的一种形式。所以，拜年就可以翻译为give New Year's greetings(送出新年的问候);New Year's visit(新年时的拜访)。

　　9、买年货

　　英语中说购物、买东西就用do shopping，买春节时候的东西——do Spring Festival shopping，这不就是买年货吗?当然了，很多意思表达都不止一种翻译方法，比如买年货，还有人把它翻译为special purchases for the Spring Festival，也就是为了春节的特别购物，也不错。

　　10、压岁钱

　　压岁钱最初的用意是镇恶驱邪。因为人们认为小孩容易受鬼祟(音sui)的侵害，所以用压岁钱压祟驱邪，("岁"与"祟"谐音)，帮助小孩平安过年，祝...

　　单词记忆方法很多，诸如：归类记忆法、图物记忆法、筛选记忆法、分析记忆法、比较记忆法、循环记忆法、解剖记忆法、规律记忆法、歌诀记忆法、表格记忆法、提纲记忆法、趣味记忆法、卡片记忆法、浓缩记忆法等等。一定要找到适合自己的一两种记忆方法，不能见异思迁。

　　四、目　的

　　有目的地记住的单词，远比无具体目的所记住的单词遗忘率低。如与老外探讨某个问题时，有几个关键词一定得记住。

　　五、观　察

　　记生词时不要上来就盲目地拼记。最好先用几分钟时间仔细观察该词的结构，找出其特点。这样做表面上看似乎浪费时间，但实际上对记单词大有帮助。

　　六、反　复

　　反复是记忆之母，任何先进科学的单词记忆法都必须以多次反复记忆为基础。

　　七、刺　激

　　显然，脑细胞敏锐时比迟钝时记忆单词的效果要好很多。刺激的方法很多，凡能使你高兴激动的事都能有效地刺激大脑。

　　八、形　象

　　教学法上有直观教学法，即形象地再现动作、物体本身，此法完全可以引入单词记忆法。

　　九、联　想

　　联想有助于单词记忆，这是毫无疑问的。

　　十、时　间

　　脑子是很容易疲劳的，托福词汇记忆的时间学生最好控制在一个半小时以内。中学生年龄小，一般不要超过40分钟。

　　Origin 清明节的起源

　　Qingming Festival, also known as Pure Brightness Festival or Tomb-sweeping Day, is one of the 24 segments of the Chinese calendar. It normally falls on the 4th or 5th of April, between spring plowing and summer weeding, and is a time to pay respects to one's ancestors and to tidy their gravesite. On this day, whole families, young and old, go to the gravesite of deceased family members to burn incense and perform a ritual offering while clearing away plant overgrowth from the gravesite.

　　Qingming Festival is when Chinese people visit the graves or burial grounds of their ancestors. Traditionally, people brought a whole rooster with them to the graves visited but the occasion has become less formal over time. The festival originated from Hanshi Day (寒食节, literally, Day with cold food only), a memorial day for Jie Zitui (介子推). Jie Zitui died in 636 BC in the Spring and Autumn Period. He was one of many followers of Duke Wen of Jin before he became a duke. Once, during Wen's 19 years of exile, they had no food and Jie prepared some meat soup for Wen. Wen enjoyed it a lot and wondered where Jie had obtained the soup. It turned out Jie had cut a piece of meat from his own thigh to make the soup. Wen was so moved he promised to reward him one day.
