The Intensive English Centre (IEC)：
The IEC is a self contained unit within the grounds of Kogarah High School. The IEC offers a new arrivals program which features a full range of KLAs (key learning areas) including English, Maths, Science, Commerce, Geography, History, Visual Arts, Music and Technology. Specially trained ESL teachers help newly arrived students to develop their English language skills and to prepare for high school entry.
