Exchange Program at Kanagawa University
Kanagawa University offers an exchange program aimed at exchange students from partner institutions that have concluded academic exchange agreements and a memorandum of understanding regarding student exchanges. Exchange students will belong to a school and department or graduate school of Kanagawa University and will take courses focusing on Japanese/Japan-related subjects and specialized subjects.
The exchange period at this university is one year or half a year. The first semester is from April to August and the second semester from September to February, and it is possible to choose April or September as the start time.
If you are a student from one of Kanagawa University’s partner institutions who wishes to pursue an exchange at Kanagawa University, after confirming that your current university is in partnership with Kanagawa University, you should prepare the required documents and submit them via the responsible department of the university in which you are enrolled. • Second Semester of academic year 2016 (September 2016 to February 2017): March 1, 2016 to May 1, 2016

Scholarships aimed at exchange students (YONEDA Yoshimori Education Scholarship)
At Kanagawa University, scholarships have been established that are aimed at exchange students from partner institutions. For details, please see “Selection of Scholarship Students for the YONEDA Yoshimori Education Scholarship Fund Scholarship to Support Kanagawa University Overseas Activities (for Exchange Students from Partner Institutions).” Applications are submitted after students arrive in Japan.
It should also be noted that support will be provided in the case of students who are entitled to a JASSO Japan Student Exchange Support Program (Short-Term Study) Scholarship.
