Up-to-date details of our annual fees for all our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are available from the Registry.

Fees shown below related to academic year 2011/12 unless otherwise stated and are shown as indicative fees. Fees for 2012/13 unless shown, will be higher and fees for continuing students will vary, Please note that the fee levels are for guidance only and that levels increase each year in line with inflation (approximately 4.8%).

Undergraduate

Scottish + EU Students (fee shown for 2011/12 entry only)

?1,820 annual fee.

Rest of UK Students (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) (proposed fee for 2012/12)

?9,000 annual fee (capped at ?27,000 for students studying fine art, design and digital culture entering into Year 1 and completing Year 4) Please note this is a proposed fee and subject to legislation in the Scottish Parliament.

International Undergraduate Students (fee shown for 2011/12 entry only)

?10,920 with the exception of the BEng/MEng where course fees are ?11,160.

Postgraduate

Scottish + EU (fee shown for 2011/12 entry only)

  • Most one-year taught Masters ?5,040
  • Most two-year taught Masters ?4,560 p.a.
  • Diploma in Architecture (as UG fee shown above) ?1,820 (TBC)
  • Research degrees ?3,400 (TBC)

    • Rest of UK Students (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) (proposed fee for 2012/12)

    International Postgraduate Students (fee shown for 2011/12 entry only)

  • Two Year Masters programmes - ?11,280 per year
  • Most one year taught Masters programmes - ?11,880
  • MSc Medical Visualisation - ?20,000
  • Research Degrees - ?10,920 per year

    • Individual departments levy material fees as indicated in the relevant sections of the website. You should budget for each year of your programme of study and should allow for costs over and above your fees and maintenance, particularly if expensive materials or projects are chosen. All students who receive a qualification from the School will also be required to pay a graduation fee, currently ?52.

    International students and postgraduate students - Please also remember that when you have accepted your offer of a place from us and paid your deposit of ?1,000, this will be taken off the balance of your fees. We will not be able to issue a CAS for visa processing until this deposit is received.

    Any offer made to a prospective student will be subject to the condition that the School will require payment of tuition fees in respect of each academic year of the student's period of study at the School.
