Student support and student life
In order to obtain good study results it is important that your life in general is well-functioning. You need to have a roof over your head, a functioning private economy and time for physical exercise. These conditions are vital to enable you to remain focused on your studies. KTH offers a wide range of resources that will help you in reaching your study goals in the best possible way.In order to stay healthy and develop as a human being, it is vital to allow time for areas and interests outside of your studies. Having time for hobbies, social activities and cultural experiences is equally important as a student. During your studies you have the chance to meet new people and expand your networks with contacts you will be able to enjoy for the rest of your life. However, it is also important to provide yourself with the best conditions to succeed in your studies. In this area KTH has various kinds of support to offer.If you would like to discuss your study situation you are always welcome to contact the student counselors at KTH. They function as support for individual students and everything you tell them is confidential. The student counselors are trained in interviewing techniques and are able to direct you within the organization of KTH in study related issues. Study counselors can also function as support in your planning your studies, if you for example need an individual study plan adapted to your needs or help with structuring your studies. They will also be able to help you in formulating goals regarding your future career.

The Student Health Service
The Student Health Service at Avonova provides support and counselling for problems related to your studies at KTH, such as stress, nutrition, anxiety and mood swings. You can talk to a nurse, counsellor or a doctor depending on your problems/issues.The Student Health Service is for KTH students. We provide support and counselling in case you are not feeling well. Perhaps you have concentration problems or stomach aches that are affecting your studies? It doesn't matter if you do not know why you are not feeling well. It may be physical or psychological. Start by contacting us and we will try together to find a solution.You can receive support and help with study-related difficulties by a qualified nurse and social counsellor in social, existential, medical and personal issues. The Student Health Service can also help you find and connect you with other health care services in Sweden.

KTH FlemingsbergAs a student at Flemingsberg, you can choose one of the sports facilities which offers training at student discounted price.Outdoor recreationIf you want to enjoy nature there is Flemingsbergsskogen nature reserve, extremely close to the Visättra sports centre.Flottsbro open-air recreation area is located in the municipal district of Flemingsberg. Flottsbro is well-known for its alpine ski slope in winter. The area also has bathing facilities, cabins to rent and mountain bike trails in summer.Indoor sportsVisättra sports centre is located 10 minutes walk from Flemingsberg station. The facilities include indoor hockey, ice hockey, football, tennis courts, boule pistes, frisbee facilities, BMX facilities and minigolf.

KTH Södertälje.Sport is everywhere in Södertälje. The city has raised a number of world-class sportsmen and women and there are teams in the highest divisions in several sports. Several of the facilities in the municipality offer discounts for students.Outdoor recreationThere are also many other opportunities, for example several golf courses (18-hole), running tracks, canoeing facilities, riding facilities, ski slopes, miniature golf, go-karts etc.Indoor sports,The sports hall on the campus area has been completely renovated.
