1、递交申请deadline
想申请奖学金的学生一定看清楚，每个学生对奖学金申请的规定。比如牛津剑桥，如果想申请奖学金，那么博士课程的申请就有一个deadline, 通常是12月1日左右。在deadline之后递交的博士申请，就没有资格申请奖学金了。当然奖学金的申请也要同时递交才可以。不用等到拿到offer之后再申请奖学金。
2、拿到offer
还有部分学校，不允许提前递交奖学金的申请，需要先拿到offer后，再申请funding或scholarship. 比如Bristol 的Geophysics，有offer才可以申。
3、特定的Project
很多奖学金是和特定的project绑定在一起的，一定要选list上的项目才可以。只有有学生申请博士，筛选了一个遍，发现list上的项目，和自己的方向不一样，只能望而却步了。比如南安的：
Multiple international student scholarships, awarded by GSNOCS, are available for highly qualified non-UK/EU applicants to cover the cost of overseas student fees. Applicants must identify the project(s) in which they are interested and are strongly encouraged to contact the relevant supervisors directly prior to making a formal application.
4、雅思达到要求
Candidates are required to have good English Language skills with scholarship applicants normally requiring a minimum IELTS of 7.0 achieved within the past two years. Please note that your scholarship application will not be considered if your IELTS results are not known to the University.
这个雅思要求并不算特别高，但是对于很多理工科的学生，可是难以达到的。所以想申请奖学金的学生们，一定先把雅思成绩考出来!!
5、面试
最后，大家不要以为过了这些关，就没问题了。最后还有一关面试!哇哦，这就是考察综合能力的时候了，一定要好好表现，才能在众多竞争者中脱颖而出。
