一、写作技巧
1.选择专业的理由
你为什么选择这个专业？谈谈你对这个专业的兴趣是如何发展起来的，你之前做过什么努力，根据你目前的学习情况，你从这个专业得到了什么启发，或者只是告诉我你对这个专业的痴迷。英国留学申请，到英国留学大家要认真学习。
英语招生老师说：“要尽可能具体。”
2.适应专业
请给出一个你是如何达到要求的例子——不仅仅是你的专业的入学要求，还有你在那个专业上所做的研究。找出你在大学里可以从这个专业学到什么，以及你为这个专业做了哪些准备。
体育专业的招生导师应该说：“一定要开门见山，谈谈你的研究，知道你为什么选择这个专业。”
3.学习以外的事情
如果可能的话，在课程大纲之外，再列出你的主要相关兴趣。
例如，对你读到的专业给出你的观点。可以是书籍、报纸、互联网、科学期刊、电影、纪录片、博客、广播、播客、讲座等。尽量避免陈词滥调。
4、所谓专业相关
谈谈你从这次经历中学到了什么，或者它是如何帮助你培养职业兴趣的。可以是工作经验、志愿服务、参加大学拓展活动、夏令营、参观博物馆、画廊、剧院、法庭、考古发掘、旅行、竞赛或数学挑战。
这位考古招生导师不得不说：“看起来不错的经历在实践中不如在实践中有用。”
5.未来的就业方向
如果你被这个专业录取，并且这个专业有一个明确的职业方向，你应该仔细考虑你可以从这个专业获得的经验，以及它是否与你选择的职业方向相关。
想想你以前的经历。你学到了什么技能？如何增加对就业概念的了解，是否喜欢这个行业？
职业治疗招生指导员必须说：“反思你的经验，谈谈你在工作中需要获得的技能。你如何发展这些技能？”
二、写作内容
1.开头应该要表现出对于所申请专业的喜爱，最好有一个什么生动的列子，由于那个原因所以你就喜欢上了这个专业，比如说看着身边的某一个亲人由于疾病离去，可是你却无能为力，所以想要学习医学，去治疗好某一种疾病。当然正式写的时候不一定要这么大，平常的一些小事一样可以，不过一定要保证是真实的，不是编造的。
2.中间可以说一下为了学习这个专业所做的努力，如果是申请大学，就可以表明在高中时就学习过一些相关的课程，有着一定的基础，如果是申请研究生就更容易了，只要提供你在大学的论文，参加过什么相关课题等等。
3.没有也不要紧，如果没有参加过课程，也可以是自己看过与之相关的课外书，自己已经预先了解过这个专业。
4.还有很重要的一点就是要展现自己的价值，让他觉得不招你就是一种损失，这一点也可以通过你对未来的清晰规划来表现，在PS上面对于未来的规划一定要具体，要有具体的目标，过程也要有一个大概。一定要把你自己和其他的申请者区分开，就算不能够表现的比其他的申请者更强，也一定要有特色。
5.写PS时有一个大忌就算列清单式的写法，只是在那里列举得过的奖项，什么优势等等，这样的PS是不入流的，就算真的优秀都没有用。
