   [论文摘要]学生自我评价不仅能够让学生发现自己学习中存在的问题,及时了解自己的学习状况,还可以让教师清楚地掌握学生的真实想法,从而得到生动的教学研究素材。文章通过对历经三年收集而来的三届高职学生对英语学习的自我评价进行分析,提出了其对高职英语教学的启示。

   一、引言

  自我评价是指在个人内部就其自身的状态进行纵向比较所做的价值判断。学生自我评价是学生个体对自己学习表现的认识与评判,自我评价在学生的学习活动中具有十分重要的作用,这种作用的本质就是使学生为自己的学习承担责任,因而能使学生更加主动,学习更加有效和更加持久,通过学生的自我认识和自我反思,教师可以更清楚地掌握学生的真实想法,从学生反思的前进的脚步中为自己找到进一步努力的教学目标,帮助教师进行教学决策。

   二、调查对象与研究方法

  本研究调查对象为笔者所教高职06级2个班、07级2个班、08级2个班,共6个班,涉及5种专业的227名学生。采用了定性研究方法,在一学年的学习结束后每位学生以“自我评价及对英语学习的看法”为题写一篇个人总结。

   三、分析与结果

  历经三年,跨越三届学生,我们最后将收集到的学生自我评价进行分类整理,得出如下结果: 2.学习兴趣。(1)厌烦。据调查显示,有学生明确表示不喜欢英语,厌烦英语,缺乏积极的学习情感体验。(2)喜欢。有学生明确表示喜欢英语,这其中一部分是从开始就喜欢,觉得学英语挺快乐的;另一部分是由于老师而改变了态度。(3)中立。大部分学生居于中间状态,是为了应付考试而学,能够按时上课,积极配合老师,按时按量地完成作业。 4.学习毅力和自控力。大部分学生学习的毅力和自控力较差,懒惰是他们的通病。不论是成绩好的还是差的学生都不避讳自己的缺点,都意识到懒惰是他们提高英语水平的绊脚石。有的靠吃老本,觉得自己有点小聪明,加上初中的底子就混过去了。有的认为英语跟不上的原因是早上没有晨读,英语单词读不下去,懒于读书,对待英语的心态不积极。

  5.学习习惯和学习方法。相当一部分学生没有良好的学习习惯及恰当的学习方法,表现为没有良好的学习习惯,惰性大,依赖性强,学习不主动,上课时注意力不集中,不背单词,不习惯提问。

  6.对英语教学的评价。有的学生认为目前的英语教学就是为了应付考试,忽视口语的重要性,但也有学生希望提高口语水平,还建议专门开设口语课。

   四、学生自我评价对高职英语教学的启示

  1.设置适当的目标与任务,让学生不断体验成功。帮助学生树立继续前进的自信心是高职英语教师的首要任务。高职英语教学过程中,老师必须了解学生的状况,明白学生已有的知识能力水平,明确教学目标,寻找学生的兴趣所在,设定适当任务,要创造机会让学生多一些成功的经验,鼓励他们,使学生不断体验成功,不断增强英语学习的.自我效能感,使学生可以达到目标,使其能看到自己的进步。

  2.培养学生的兴趣,使其有正确的学习心态及目标。关注和改善学生的心理素质,激活学生学习英语的态度显得尤为重要。培养学生兴趣,可以在教学中挖掘教学内容的新颖性和情趣因素,精心设计教学的每一个基本环节,改进教法,使学生“易学、乐学、善学”。让学生了解英语是能够帮助更好更快实现人生梦想的重要工具。对自卑、缺乏自信、处于焦虑中的学生,要让他们了解英语是一种技能,通过单纯的模仿就可以掌握,只要具有正常人的智力,就肯定能够掌握英语。所以,每个英语学习者都应该树立信心,一旦有信心,就不会有畏难情绪,就能一直坚持学习,直到掌握英语。

  3.重视学生的基础,传授学习方法,培养学习习惯。大部分进入职业学院的学生英语基础薄弱,没有养成良好的学习习惯。要想提高学生的成绩,需要狠抓基础知识的掌握与落实,查漏补缺。只有重视学生的基础才能达到教育的实际效应。例如,对于造成大多数学生英语学习困难的根源之一——词汇量的欠缺,要引导学生采用有效的学习词汇的策略,包括查阅英语辞典、大量阅读课本以外的书籍等。

  学习方法是教学中的一个重要的基本因素。教师要关注学生独特的个性,根据教学目标和学生的学习情况指导他们选择正确有效的学习方法。与此同时,教师要帮助学生认识英语学习规律,形成英语学习习惯,这样才能花最少的时间和精力而达到最大的效果。因为英语学习成功最重要的因素和最可靠的保证是具有良好的英语学习习惯。在教学中,教师的主导性越强,学生的主体性就越强。相反,教师的主导性越差,学生的主体性就越差。教的本质在于引导,引导学生辨明方向,唤起其内在的精神动力,鼓励其不断前进。

  一名优秀的教师应该以丰富的学识引导人、以高超的教学艺术打动人、以充满爱的怀抱呵护人。对于高职生更应如此,学好英语固然重要,但我们首先要帮助他们树立自信,掌握正确的学习方法,获得学习的能力。

  5.因人而异,区别评价。长期以来对于学生的评价大多是以鉴定为目的的终结性评价。这种评价已不能适应新形势下社会对高职人才的多规格、多样化要求,不能体现学生的动态发展变化,很难发现和发展学生的潜能,阻碍学生认识自我、建立自信。笔者认为,对高职生除了强调学习个体的学习动机、个人努力程度、学习态度等主观因素外,还应重视学习个体的英语能力倾向以及生理、心理等方面的个体差异。为了避免弱势群体自知无望而陷入无穷的自卑的情况出现,对他们的要求不应过高,而应给予他们足够的爱和期待。对于基础相对较好的学生则鼓励他们向高一级目标进军,使他们的潜能得到最大限度的挖掘。评价不仅看学科成绩,更应注重学生的综合素质是否通过教育得到了提高。

  因此,要在高职教育领域探索如何具体应用多元化学生评价,从学习态度、完成学习任务、方法和成绩等多方面对学生的学习情况进行评估,取消纯粹以考分评估学习状况的做法。例如,像语言知识和技能,可以用常规的语言测试进行评价和检测;对于情感和策略等学生内在发展状态的评价,可以通过对同学进行问卷调查、学生自评、互评等方式来进行持续评价。评价要保护学生的自尊心,体现尊重和赏识;评价要关注学生知识差异,也要关注学生情感差异,更要关注学生个体差异。教学过程中的评价应该能帮助学生克服困难,熟悉不足,反思与调控,恢复自信,提高学习能力,化弱势为强势。

  3、创新性原则:教学机器人这一平台,为参与者提供了丰富的创新空间,创新是技术活动的本质所在。在设计机器人活动时,应体现出创新性原则,这也是机器人活动的亮点之处。可以是师生根据日常生活经验、学习体会和构思的新创意,也可以是对以前某些机器人功能的改进、活动项目的再提升。这是中小学机器人创新活动的核心。

  4、智能性原则:设计的机器人应能反映出机器人的本质特性,即体现出机器人的智能性(如感知、规划、动作和协同等能力)。应是按照周围环境的输入信息来做出判断、基于传感器控制、独立地根据程序指令、而决定自己的行动的具有一定自主能力的机器人。这是中小学机器人创新活动的魅力。

  5、趣味性原则:设计的机器人活动,应当具有一定的趣味性,能够引起相关学龄段学生参与的积极性和兴趣;还要具有一定的可观赏性,能使参与者和观众都能对该活动引起相应的兴趣和关注。这是中小学机器人创新活动的活力。

  6、竞技性原则:机器人竞赛活动应具有一定的竞技性,在规定的活动时间内,可以评价出参与者的思维能力、技术水平等。还应具有一定的挑战性,综合能力不同的参与者,可能达到不同的活动结果,使参与者对机器人活动总有新的追求欲望。同时要注意公平性,只要学生设计的机器人可以完成本项活动,就允许参加,制定的评价方案也要是不产生歧义、可操作的。应当以参与者活动过程体验为出发点。这是中小学机器人创新活动的动力。

  在机器人“功能创新项目”评价中,要重点把握创新性原则、智能性原则、可应用性和可靠性原则。可应用性主要指是为解决某个实际问题而设计(尽管当前可能是不理想的);可靠性是指机器人运行时,系统是可靠、稳定的。

  在“现场指定项目”评价中,主办方要注意提出活动的方式方法和评价标准,活动方式通常是规定了某项特定的任务,参赛者运用自己的综合能力完成项目要求,评价标准是可量化、可操作的,竞赛时参赛者需要遵照执行。
