This summer holiday, I had travelled to Hong Kong with many other students. We went to Hong Kong by plane. Hong Kong is very small, but there are many people living there.

In Hong Kong, all of the buildings are very tall. There are lots of shops there and you can go shopping until about 11:00 at night. In Hong Kong, things are very expensive, so we only bought a few souvenirs.

We went to lots of places, such as the Avenue of Stars and Ocean Park. I like Ocean Park best. The park is very big. Sitting in the cable car, you can see two hills, lots of different flowers and the sea. Some students were afraid of sitting in the cable car!

We stayed in the Shu Ren College. There are many big trees around it. We had meals in the restaurants, but I didn't like the food.

Hong Kong is very beautiful. I like Hong Kong and I hope to go there again some day.

　　设计意图：大部分学生都喜欢旅游，老师谈谈自己旅游的经历,询问学生的旅游经历。列举世界上著名的河流图片，让学生来欣赏认识美好的河流。能有效地调动学生的学习积极性。河流图片的展示，学生猜测河流的名字，唤起学生的学习兴趣以及对大自然的热爱。

　　设计意图：展示沿湄公河的地图，引起学生的兴趣，让学生观察地图，说出湄公河流经的国家，为随后的阅读做好了内容和词汇上的铺垫。

Weekends to people mean that people can have two days' rest. They can go out or get together at home.

Everybody spends weekends in his own way. Some people relax themselves by listening to music, reading in libraries or doing sports outdoors. In a word, different people have different relaxations.

I often spend weekends with my family. Sometimes my parents take me to visit our relatives. Sometimes we go swimming or go dancing and sometimes I go to read some instructive books. I often enjoy myself at weekends.

For 17,it's time to say goodbye to my childhood,because 18 is coming.

For 17,I have many hurts and pains,the worst is why i must say goodbye to my childhood.

For 17,I know it not easy for life,I know hard-working is the key to succees.But why I should look for my succees,where he is?

For 17,I doubled if it's need to be or not to be a child,but unknown.

To be or not to be ,this is not a question,for I know it's know difference between child and adult.

These years you can see many underground railways are being built in some big cities. underground railway is both convenient and fast. the underground railway is also called "the tube","the subway'or "the underground".

There're lifts for you to go up or down. the trains' doors open and close automatically. in shanghai, during rush hours the underground arrives at the station every two minutes.

But with too many people taking the underground, people find it really too crowded. maybe shanghai needs more underground railways.

I think everyone knows china.

China has a long history ,the first period is xia dynasty,its full name is people republic of china. our country has famous things ,for example there are many famous universities especially beijing university and qinghua university the other hand ,our country has many famous people master of science and doctor of literature.such as hualuogeng luxun and chengjinrun and so on .when spring festival is coming many people will visit their best friend ,china has many famous media for example cctv china has many famous palaces such asyellow river and great wall.however beijing is capital of china beijing is a interesting place.because in 2008 the 29th olympic gameswill be held in beijing .to make it the best ever games the capital city will make several big change.

The olympic motto is "faster, higher ,stronger" the people of beijing and of the whole country will prepare to light the olympic torch to welcome athletes and sports fans from all over the world.
