　　Describe the differences between two singers that you are familiar with. Include reasons and examples to support your response.

　　这是一道比较题，而且涉及音乐，咋一看似乎有些难度。但仔细一想，可以说的思路还是很多的，比如男女比较、歌声比较、曲风比较、舞台表演方式比较等等，重点在于突出不同。考虑到现在学生很多喜欢听欧美歌曲，对于欧美著名歌手都能说出一二，但要将两个歌手的不同之处说好，还是有一些语言的要求的。所以建议如果有话可讲，且语言表达能力过关的学生可以说欧美人熟悉的歌手，这样容易产生共鸣、方便评分人理解。而语言能力一般的同学，如果担心自己说不好，较为稳妥的处理方式是比较两个中国歌手，这样即便说的和真实有些差距也不容易穿帮，方便组织语句。

　　Some people prefer to get advice from their parents or grandparents. Others prefer to get advice from their peers. What way do you prefer and why?

　　这是一道老题，在机经中已经有出现过，而且是常规思路，应该不会让考生感觉太意外。答题思路如下：

　　一、选择听父母或祖父母意见

　　优点：1. 人生经验丰富 (experienced/wise/thoughtful)

　　2. 真心关心你，为你着想 (caring)

　　3. 一家人彼此比较了解，容易沟通 (understand each other)

　　4. 家人可以帮助你解决困难 (helpful)

　　缺点：1. 有代沟、观念不同不容易沟通 (generation gap)

　　2.家人出于关心容易将问题看得过于严重 (too concerning/worried)

　　3. 老经验老看法有时候会束缚年轻人的创造力 (creativity)

　　Generally speaking, I think it is of great importance to study the history from ancestors. To begin with, our ancestors have invented a lot of useful stuff. For example, ancient Chinese invented paper and we are still using it now. From this perspective, ancestors are very innovative, and we should learn to be creative; secondly, ancient people work together to finish certain activities like hunting and searching for food, so they knew how to work in a team, and this is very meaningful in the modern society, only if we know how to cooperate with other people, can we get the most success. Needless to say, there are lots of important lessons for us to learn from ancestors.
