First, residents in both townships are confused about which authority to contact when they need a service; for example, the police department in Roseville receives many calls from residents of West Roseville. This sort of confusion would be eliminated with the merger. Second, the savings in administrative costs would be enormous, since services would no longer be duplicated: we would have only one fire chief, one tax department, one mayor, and so on. And no jobs in city government would be lost — employees could simply be reassigned. Most importantly, the merger will undoubtedly attract business investments as it did when the townships of Hamden and North Hamden merged ten years ago."

　　我记得的不多，作文题Issue是说the surest indicator of a great nation, Argument是Butter那段

　　V里面，填空出现了corridor那道高频，答案我觉得是consensus和accord。另外有一道六选二是选和fear对应的词，其中有一个是trepidation，另一个记不得了，因为后半句出现了fears and hopes，但是坑爹的我在Section结束前10秒才反应过来，想改已经来不及了。

　　然后V1还出现了一道寂静里出现一篇阅读，就是那个什么Purple，反正看得云里雾里，连态度也没看出来，还好寂静里有说建议跳过，不然对自信心打击太大了。其他都是短阅读，文章难度不高。一篇讲highway-only policy，说美国的公路网的建设没有造成拥堵情况的环节，反正造成越来越堵的现象，因为很多原来take railway的人去开车了。还有一篇讲牛顿的，说牛顿的后半生致力于炼金术和神学，然后三个人出来说了三种观点，两道题考点都在后两人的观点上，一个说牛顿研究炼金术只是玩玩的，后一个说不是这样，其实17世纪大部分科学家都希望能把这些和科学整合在一起。另外就是老鼠那道题，有童鞋说了我就不说了。

　　Q的部分，难度比较高，出现两次正态分布，建议大家好好看看。另外有一道应用题讲同位素的，是道多选题，有点吓到我，因为按高中思路应该要用对数，不过这题可以带数字验证，看懂题目难度不大。还有一道说一个二次函数f(x)=50x2-kx+517之类的一个数，然后f(x)=f(-x)，问k是多少。答案是0。

　　其他的不太记得。自己最后拿了155+170，算满意了，毕竟只花了两个月时间准备。当然运气比较好，两篇作文恰好都练到过，然后又是QVQVQ，信心一下子就来了。当然总体难度也不如想象中高。另外PP2估的成绩还是很准的。

　　另外再补充两道数学题：说是有一个盒子里有绿和黄两种大理石一共9块(?)，如果第一次取出来的是绿色不放回，第二次再取出绿色的概率是2/7，然后问如果第一次取出来的是黄色，那第二次取出来黄色的概率。

　　还有一道是数轴上五个点，三正两负，问随机取三个都是正的概率。答案是1/10

　　"Recently, butter has been replaced by margarine in Happy Pancake House restaurants throughout the southwestern United States. This change, however, has had little impact on our customers. In fact, only about 2 percent of customers have complained, indicating that an average of 98 people out of 100 are happy with the change. Furthermore, many servers have reported that a number of customers who ask for butter do not complain when they are given margarine instead. Clearly, either these customers do not distinguish butter from margarine or they use the term 'butter' to refer to either butter or margarine."

　　今天去上海财大考的，貌似平时那教室就作托福网考用，很多instruction pad还贴着托福的东西没撕下来……

　　作文题方面，issue是所谓的高频，the surest indicator of a great nation不是achievements in science, politics and arts， 而是people's general welfare.

　　argument，是一个叫happy pancake restaurant要不要替换掉butter的问题。

　　我属于抱佛脚的，都没写过，不过貌似还打了一屏半，算过得去吧。

　　接下来是QVQVQ。数学不说了，verbal只有一篇长阅读，其他都是短的，感觉填空题比老G难，好多单词不认识或者不确定，做得手抖。

　　记得清楚的话题有关于宇宙里一些彗星的pristine relics, 新的研究表明因为接近太阳时温度太高，里面的relics很难测定。

　　有关于alice walkers的黑人文学，那本书叫The Color Purple。

　　其他真的太多篇记不清楚了，就这样吧!

　　然后就要说到楼主十分纠结的分数问题了……

　　那个我看见了有位324分的童鞋问要不要重考被群殴的场面所以十分忐忑……咳，要拍砖的先看看我背景再说。

　　我是考SAT和托福高三申请美国本科被某TOP40的大学录取的，专业Econ全美排名TOP15。

　　心心念念想在研究生这块提升下，进个Econ全美排名TOP10的去镀镀金……

　　所以看见报分的时候楼主表示十分迷惘：阅读157，数学165，总分322。
