　　态度相反原则，即选项所述主题与原文正好相反或态度不一致，可立即排除。

　　2010年6月的四级考试阅读理解题目中，有一道题困扰了很多考生--Passage 2 Q64： What does the author mean by "… you're just underlining his faults" (Line 4, Para. 3)?

　　原文相关句：If you tell your dim friend that he has the potential of an Einstein, you're just underlining his faults.

　　题目选项： A) You are not taking his mistakes seriously enough.

　　B) You are pointing out the errors he has committed.

　　C) You are emphasizing the fact that his is not intelligent.

　　D) You are trying to make him feel better about his faults.

　　主题一致性，是排除法的第一要义。很多题目，仅仅通过主题不一致原则就可以排除得出正确答案。

　　句子主题，通常体现在名词或动词上。因此审题和排除选项时，首先要关注句子中的'核心名词和动词，找寻题目与选项的一致性。

　　答题技巧一：详略得当

　　对于大学英语四级阅读来说，根据题目的“题眼”快速在文章中找到答案是最关键的，这样我们就要在阅读时注意详略得当。克服精读精益求精的习惯，做到有信息处精读，无信息处略读，略读处一扫而过。　　题目中数字、人名等信息(题眼)在原文中对应的部分必须详读。而对所要解释或证明的观点的细节举例处或者通常有数个名词的并列项，它们不是完整的主谓宾的句子，因此无法与问题对应的详细列举处，都可以略读。

　　答题技巧二：显性信息

　　查读的信息通常是显性信息，只要将问题在原文中进行准确定位就能得到正确答案，一般不需要做推理。　　特别提示：考生对于以下一些显性信息也应注意

　　(1) 表示因果关系的词或词组：because， reason， due to， since， so that， therefore等。

　　(2) 表示目的关系的词或词组：in order to， so as to， by等。

　　(3) 表示转折关系的词或词组：but， however， yet等。

　　(4) 表示对比关系的词或词组：contrary to， unlike， like等。

　　答题技巧三：题文同序

　　英语四级考试的阅读部分，问题顺序与原文顺序一致(有时顺序不一致)，这就要求考生应该按照题目的顺序依次做题。

　　答题技巧四：分解对应

　　分解对应四分法：快速将问题分解成4个部分(主A 谓B宾C+其他D)，与原文进行对比。

　　答题技巧五：选小不选大

　　四级阅读中，问题的范围必须小于原文范围，反之则不选。

　　不能选的选项为：

　　(1) 选项的信息与原文内容相反。

　　(2) 选项将原文的意思张冠李戴。

　　(3) 将原文中的不确定因素转化为确定因素。

　　(4) 改变原文中的条件、范围等。

　　拓展阅读：英语四级考试时间分配

　　1、一般情况下，按照顺序答题。首先应该是短文写作题。看清题目，想清楚立意后，尽量早些动笔，如果对自己的写作信心不够的同学，建议写草稿。不过最好通过平时训练直接写到答题卡上，这样节省时间，注意书写一定要正解清楚。写作建议用时30分钟，写作占试卷总分的15%。

　　2、9:35的时候可能老师会提醒还有5分钟就开始听力。这时候不要紧张，如果还有一两句就可以完成写作，那就写完，如果还有很多内容，那么放下写作先听听力，因为听力毕竟只有一次机会，而且分数占到35%。至于听力的时间分配，我只想说听过之后不要再浪费时间思考，因为你思考不出不存在客观题目的答案的。时间和放音时间一样，30分钟。

　　快速阅读从2006年6月份首次出现到现在，题型的难度一直在稳步递增，其中也包含了题型的改变(自2007年12月份起将判断题改为选择题)。这既折射出了命题者对该部分题型命制的探索与不断创新，也反映出了命题者在反复调整题型的难度系数，想要给该部分寻找到一个合适的分量。这种尝试既有成功，但也有欠考虑之处。考生普遍反映快速阅读难度过大，个别题目超出了四级甚至是六级考试大纲的要求。下面，将结合真题为各位考生揭开快速阅读解题的神秘面纱：

　　一、考点skimming

　　其实“快速阅读”这个称谓是对这部分题型名称的一种误解，甚或说是一种误译。实际上试题册上所给的题型英文名称是Reading Comprehension (Skimming and Scanning)——阅读理解(略读与跳读)。不少考生正是由于受到所谓“快速”两字的误导，以为单纯求快就可以万事大吉，殊不知这其中是另有“隐情”。

　　Skimming——略读

　　略读，顾名思义就是要求考生在较短时间内把握住文章某个段落的主题思想。我们首先来看一下2010年6月份快速阅读第一题：

　　1. What eventually made Carla Toebe realize she was spending too much time on the Internet?

　　A) Her daughter's repeated complaints.

　　B) Fatigue resulting from lack of sleep.

　　C) The poorly managed state of her house.

　　D) The high financial costs adding up.

　　一般来说快速阅读的第一题往往是针对文章的开头部分。以该题为例，基本上所有考生都能够定位到第一段。可是第一段到底应该怎么读就成了个大问题。
