These years you can see many underground railways are being built in some big cities. underground railway is both convenient and fast. the underground railway is also called "the tube","the subway'or "the underground".

There're lifts for you to go up or down. the trains' doors open and close automatically. in shanghai, during rush hours the underground arrives at the station every two minutes.

But with too many people taking the underground, people find it really too crowded. maybe shanghai needs more underground railways.

　　夏王问之何故?有人答道：“后羿所以这样，那是因为情绪波动影响了他的射技，万金厚赏以及削掉封邑的压力造成了他的失误。”

　　再听一位一个考生的应试故事：

　　某考生，在平时同学遇到难题向他请教时，都可以从容作答，思维敏捷，可是一到期中、期末考试时，那股沉着、敏捷劲全没了，本来不成问题的问题，却怎么也解不出来或者答题漏洞百出;解题时经常会计算马虎、题目看错等。

　　这两个小故事给我们的启示是：

　　一个人在紧要关头，存在着患得患失的杂念，就难正常发挥自己的才能和本领。

　　自己有一定实力，只要心理状态正常就能考出好成绩。而缺乏信心、紧张怯场或受患得患失的干扰，结果就会发挥不出应有的水平。

　　考试前既兴奋又很紧张，这是很正常的心理状态。心理学上把这种心理状态称为考试焦虑心理。

　　如：考不上重点高中一切都完了 、现在这门课我还有很多不会、我还有……还不会做，我完了，肯定不能……

　　在中考前适度的心理压力或适度的焦虑，能激励我们专心复习，时时提醒自己注意力要集中;能促进各方面的内在素质和已有能力的充分发挥。从这个意义上说，适度的心理压力和适度的焦虑有助于我们中考复习和中考时正常发挥。

　　然而过度的焦虑与压力会引起心理负担过重，智力水平受到抑制，并会产生一系列的反应，如烦躁、厌倦、焦虑、反应迟缓以及恐惧、恶心、头晕、失眠、胃腹疼痛等身心反应。

　　作为当事人的我们怎么来调整考前过度焦虑呢?

　　1.坦然面对，顺其自然。

　　当一个人已经出现了紧张的情绪反应时，该怎么调节呢?对于这种情况，人们习惯上常常会劝慰当事人：“别紧张!”“有什么大不了的!”而当事人自己也通常会这样告诫自己：“别紧张!”“有什么了不起的!”然而，十分不幸的是，这种办法几乎是行不通的，实际上这会使人感到更加不安。因为这是在和自己过不去，在给你制造更大的紧张。正如有句话所说的“情绪如潮，越堵越高。”那么怎么办呢?答案是“让它紧张”。 什么意思，就是顺其自然。紧张其实不是那么可怕的，我们平时过分地夸大了紧张的危害。告诉自己“正常发挥就好了……”。

　　2.有一个准确的定位，并确立恰当的期望值。

　　我们要对自己有一个准确的定位，对于自己的学习水平及状况要能有一个客观的分析，有一个实事求是的自我评价，千万不能过高地估计自己的实力，也可暂时不去估计，然后提高自身的水平入手。这有利于大家在考试过程中，有一个良好的心态，有利于大家沉着冷静地面对每一场考试。所以我们要静下心来做好老师要求做的每一件事，做好每一次作业，看好每一课内容，订正好每一道错题。

　　3.要有信心。

　　信心有时是无穷的力量，会把自己往前推动。有时不会做的题，心里要这样想，我能做出来的，只是慢点罢了，实在做不出来，心里要这样想，别人肯定也做不出。就是做出来...

The air we breathe is so freely available that we take it for granted. Yet without it we could not survive more than a few minutes. For the most part, the same air is available to everyone, and everyone needs it. Some people use the air to sustain them while they sit around and feel sorry for themselves. Others breathe in the air and use the energy it provides to make a magnificent life for themselves.

Opportunity is the same way. It is everywhere. Opportunity is so freely available that we take it for granted. Yet opportunity alone is not enough to create success. Opportunity must be seized and acted upon in order to have value. So many people are so anxious to "get in" on a "ground floor opportunity", as if the opportunity will do all the work. That's impossible.

Just as you need air to breathe, you need opportunity to succeed. It takes more than just breathing in the fresh air of opportunity, however. You must make use of that opportunity. That's not up to the opportunity. That's up to you. It doesn't matter what "floor" the opportunity is on. What matters is what you do with it.

Do you see the glass as half-full rather than hall empty? The two different answers to the question represent two different attitudes towards life -- optimistic attitude and pessimistic attitude.

Optimism always leads to happiness, health and success while pessimism, by contrast, results in hopelessness, sickness and failure. That's because optimists and pessimists deal with the same challenges and disappointments in very different ways. When things go wong the pessimist tends to blame himsell, while the optimist looks for loop holes. The optimist feels in control of his oval life. If things are going badly, he acts quickly, looking for solutions, forming a new plan of action, and seeking for advice. On the contrary, the pessimist yields to the arrangement of fate and moves slowly. He doesn't seek advice, since he assumes nothing can be done.

Most people are a mix of optimism and pessimism. Optimism is important in all aspects of our lives. If you can change your mind from pessimism to optimism, you can change your life.

Cactuses are used to living in desert. The whole body of a cactus is green. The stalk is oval and there are thorns all over its body. Actually the thorns in their bodies are their leaves. The leaves are like this only because they can stop the water in their bodies from evaporating into the hot and dry air. The cactuses have long roots and they take their roots deep into the earth so that they can get the water from deeper,soil.

Their flowers are always small and white.Although they are ignored in the desert, they never give up coming ont and alwaysdecorate the desert silently.
