取消英语高考的利弊

　　虽然出国留学还是少数人考虑的问题，但出国留学必备的英语能力和中学教育是息息相关的。

　　按照教育部门的回应，“英语实行社会化考试、一年多次考试是改革方向，但并不等于英语退出高考”，所谓社会化的英语考试，就是由学校以外的第三方来做考试管理，最终使用的成绩可以选择。这样大大增加了英语考试的灵活性，给学生“刷分”的机会。从大的方向上来看，国家对英语的重视程度似乎在降低。由于长期从事留学咨询，几乎每天都接触英语，笔者想对这个趋势发表几点看法。

　　改革后的担忧：

　　1.英语是国际生活中的通用语言，在国际交流交往中普及率比较高。中国正在崛起，和世界上其他国家和地区的交往会越来越多，英语学习对从事相关工作的人事关重大。中国虽然人很多，但有国际视野的人才还是稀缺的，英语作为传递信息和思想的工具，还是非常重要的。

　　2.取消或减轻英语后，受影响最大的应该是国内二三线城市的的孩子。这些学生所能分配到的教育资源相对较少。平时英语的培训会随着高考指挥棒的指引减少，再加上小城市英语师资力量本来就薄弱，农村学生的英语水平和大城市的距离会加大，这些学生将来出国的机会会减小。

　　3.正规的国际班由于始终会把英语的学习放在重要地位，所以国际班学生的英语水平在申请美国名校时占有一定优势。

　　4.英语学习会出现大城市集中的现象，主要是需求大、资源多。像北上广深这样的城市，国际化程度较高，这种趋势会加速他们的发展，其他地区的国际化速度也许会受影响。

　　说了些很多担忧，那么英语如果接着学应该怎么改?下面分析一下改革前高考指挥下存在的问题。

　　1.改革前的高考英语准备起来和语文、数学等处于同等地位，绝大部分中国的高中毕业生将来如果不出国的话，英语是用不到的。所以，英语在整个考试中占的比重应该减少。

　　2.改革的英语课程其实需要做的是从实用出发，笔者在多年留学规划的实践过程中，接触的学生很多。这些学生无论托福成绩多高，到美国后几乎无一例外的会叹息“听不懂，跟不上”。除了国内的语言环境我们无法改变外，一个最主要的问题就是，我们的英语学习实用性重视不够。学习的内容往往和实际脱节，同时，我们虽然特别强调语法，但中国学生往往是语法学不好——到了美国后和别人差的不是语音语调(英文不是我们的母语，所以我们有口音是非常正常的)，英语美国人听不懂的主要原因还是我们的语法不正确。

　　3.在实践中，英语教学音频视频等资料其实现在也不少，但真正提高水平最终还是要依靠人与人之间的真实交流。在听说读写四方面，只是“听”和“读”是远远不够的。

　　4.如果能注重实用性，英语的教学时间可以相对减少。如果我们不出国、不进入外企，目前学校学习的英语实用性较小。特别是相对于语文来讲，更是这样。我们教的英语是语言，是一种交流工具，如果不用，实际上就失去了学习的意义。

　　综上所述，笔者认为，英语在将来的高考中比例减少总的来讲是好事，如果在教学中能更注重实用性，我们学习英语就可以更有的放矢。
